Sam kissed his way down Evie's throat, pausing to suck at the graceful curve where her neck and shoulder met. He'd discovered in their brief session last night that she was sensitive there, so he lingered, arousing her to the point where her hands dug into his shoulders and her hips bucked against his. When he moved on, a small pink mark remained - he'd marked her, if only for a time. A thrill of possessive pride slithered up his spine, pushing any guilt aside.

"I don't mind," Evie said with a sultry drawl. "I may do the same to you."

Sam chuckled and nipped playfully at her shoulder. "You can do whatever you want, my sexy little ghost. I'll happily wear any mark you want to give me. Though I'll have to watch what I'm thinking - it's kind of weird having a lover who can read my mind."
