The Ravenclaw boys' dormitory.
Andy was half-leaning on his bed, flipping through the book that Snape had given him.
Advanced Potion-Making.
It was a sixth-year Potions textbook!
"This book belongs to the Half-Blood Prince!"
Seeing the words written on the page, Andy raised his eyebrows.
Half-Blood Prince? Who? Snape?
Did Professor Snape used to be so chuunibyou (eighth-grade syndrome)?
Just by looking at the wear and tear of the book, Andy guessed that this book would be Snape's textbook when he was in school.
This was the sixth year's potion textbook, and only those who achieved an 'Outstanding' or an 'Exceeds Expectation' on their Ordinary Wizarding Level could learn advanced knowledge in the Advanced Potions class.
There were recipes for a wide range of advanced magic potions on it, such as Draught of Living Death, Elixir to Induce Euphoria, Hiccoughing Solution, Beautification Potion, Felix Felicis, Everlasting Elixirs, Polyjuice Potion, Amortentia, Veritaserum, and Essence of Insanity, and many others.
On top of that, there were many high-end magic potion theories in the book.
For example: Poison Antidotes and Golpalott's Third Law.
Looking at the traces of scribbles on the book, Andy was happy in his heart, "Mum will definitely need this."
Although Andy's mother, Helen Collins, was also known as a master of potions, there was a huge difference between Helen's and Snape's Master of potions title.
The former can only make magic potions according to the rules, it's just that the quality of her potion is very high. On the other hand, the latter could improve the formula and brewing method of the magic potion.
The difference between the two was immediately apparent!
However, Helen's attainments in magic potions were already excellent.
The gap between her and Snape was in the mind, not in the ability to do things.
As long as Helen was given a recipe, the finished product she could make would not be much worse than the finished product Snape could make.
Inventing and creating was hard, but learning would be relatively easy.
Andy continued to read the book.
The book had been altered in many places, and Snape had written some spiteful remarks about the author. It was obvious that Snape had a lot of disdain for the author of the book.
"Huh? Is this a ... spell?"
Andy's eyes lit up.
Snape actually wrote the magic spell he invented in the Potions textbook.
"I like this habit of Snape's!"
Andy hurriedly flipped through the book.
The book contained five or six very useful spells.
Langlock, Muffliato Charm, and the Dangling Jinx, as well as Sectumsempra and its counter Jinx, plus a Toenail-growing hex.
"Genius!" After sorting out the magic spells, Andy had to admire Snape's talent.
Although all the spells except for Sectumsempra were at the level of hex and jinx, one spell for killing was enough.
Especially Snape's improvements to the magic potions, this was the most important.
Andy wouldn't underestimate the role of magic potions just because they were not powerful. The magic potion also belonged to a kind of magic, and it was still like alchemy, a technical type of magic.
It was only that the level of the magic potion had nothing to do with talent (Harry could become a magic potion genius after he got this book), and that was why the magic potion didn't appear on the system's panel.
"Andy, aren't you going to sleep?" Andy's roommate Terry asked.
"Hmm?" Andy froze.
Terry said, "It's past ten, and we have to take the train home tomorrow, so ..."
Oh! It's lights out.
Andy put his book away and then took out his wand and flicked it, and the lights in the dormitory went out instantly.
"Good night!"
***
The next morning, just after nine o'clock, a group of young wizards arrived at the Hogsmeade railway station on the Thestral carriage.
Wooooooo...
The train was the same steam train, and Andy and Hermione, carrying their suitcases, found an unoccupied compartment.
"Let's sit here!" Andy said as he pulled open the door.
Putting their suitcases away, Andy and Hermione sat in the window seats on each side of the compartment. And then Andy took out his wand and locked the door of the compartment in one smooth motion.
"You went to see Professor Snape yesterday, didn't you?"
Hermione asked curiously, "What did the Professor say?"
Andy spread his hands, "What else would he say? The professor isn't going to tell his secrets to a second-year wizard."
Hermione hummed softly and gave Andy a blank look without any goodwill.
You can make plans with Dumbledore to deal with Voldemort's dark magic item, who would think of you as a proper second-year young wizard?
Isn't Snape already at your mercy?
"It's true!"
Andy looked honest and trustworthy, "All that Professor said was that it wouldn't affect Hogwarts."
"Then there's nothing that can be done about it! If it's something outside of school, there's not much we can do to help, even if the professor tells us." Hermione said with disappointment.
"You still want to help?" Andy exclaimed.
Hermione straightened her shoulders, "I'm part of the wizarding community, so of course I want to do my part. Besides, if Voldemort comes back to life, the Muggle world is going to suffer, right?"
That was true!
Abusing muggles was just a fun thing for Death Eaters to do.
During the last Wizarding War, there were a large number of unsolved crimes in the Muggle world that were done by Death Eaters. Not to mention ordinary Muggles, there was no shortage of attacks on British officials.
"It's dangerous!" Andy warned.
"Of course, I know it's dangerous."
The young witch straightened, "But aren't you already involved? You want to defeat Voldemort, I can't just watch and do nothing, can I?"
"And I have powers now!"
Since when did I want to defeat Voldemort?
Andy froze, uh ... he did seem to have said something like that to Hermione.
No ... you believe it when you want to play cool, don't you?
Andy felt a big headache.
Sure enough, people with power become inflated.
As the saying goes, if you are armed with a powerful weapon, your killing desire will arise.
Hermione is really talented in fusion magic, and after mastering fusion spells, Hermione's strength has increased significantly.
With strength, people became inflated.
"Alright! Since you have such an awareness, I won't stop you."
Andy had always rarely interfered with other people's decisions.
"But we are still young now, before we decide to help, we should first improve our level of magic."
Andy said, "The good news is that there shouldn't be anything major happening next term, we have six months to study in peace."
Hermione nodded, then froze, "Six months?"
Andy wore a helpless expression, "By the time next school year starts, maybe I'll have to drive away another Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor."
Hermione: "..."
OK! It's good that you're happy.
"Actually ..."
Hermione suddenly got serious and said in a serious tone, "I also know that I'm not that skilled in magic right now, so even if I wanted to help, I would only get in the way."
"But ... Voldemort will come back to life sooner or later, right?"
"Unless we escape from here, we'll always have to face that ... won't we?"
Andy blinked.
That ... Don't you think running away is actually a good idea?

"Yes, you're right, sooner or later we're bound to see the resurrection of Voldemort," Andy said with a straight face.
From the current situation, a second wizard war was almost inevitable.
Some people may choose not to get involved, but there will always be people who will choose to resist Voldemort's rule. History has proved countless times that people with the spirit of 'sacrificing one's life for the other' were never in the minority.
Hermione had clearly made her decision.
The train slowly started, looking out the window at the scenery that kept receding, Andy said softly, "You don't have to be stressed, because Voldemort is doomed to be defeated."
"Of course!" Hermione said confidently.
Andy raised an eyebrow and took the initiative to change the subject, "Speaking of which, there should be a lot of legends about magic in the Muggle world, right? What do they say about us on that side of the world?"
"Legends of magic in the Muggle world? Well ..."
Hermione mused for a moment and chuckled, "Well, there's a lot of them, and they say all sorts of things. There's also the legend of King Arthur and Merlin, which is pretty much the same as what's circulating on this side of the wizarding world."
"Oh yeah, and Nicolas Flamel. I looked up about him over the summer holidays, and you wouldn't believe it, Mr Nicolas Flamel is a big name in the Muggle world as an alchemist as well, and a lot of Muggles think he obtained immortality."
Ah, this...!
This is not the twenty-first century's internet age, where all you need to do is search the internet if you want to find out some information.
"How did you find out?"
Andy asked curiously, "I'm talking about information about Mr Nicolas Flamel."
Hermione explained, "There are books in the library about Mr Nicolas Flamel."
"Monsieur Nicolas Flamel, a most famous alchemist of the fourteenth century, a time when the wizarding world was not completely hidden, so, many people of that era claimed to have met Nicolas Flamel."
"There was also a sighting of Mr and Mrs Nicolas Flamel under the arches of the Paris Opera House in 1761."
Andy: "..."
This old man is really extravagant.
Hermione laughed softly, "But these are all just legendary stories, and although they've been well documented, a lot of people don't believe that they're true."
"It is said that the last time anyone saw Nicolas Flamel was in Paris in 1929."
Andy raised his eyebrows at that, "That time ... is the year Grindelwald torched Paris?"
"Grindelwald torched Paris?" Hermione was surprised.
Hermione had seen the name Grindelwald on Dumbledore's frog card.
"Ah! I heard Mrs Bagshot mention it."
Andy explained, "In 1929, Grindelwald unleashed the Fiendfyre Curse on Paris, trying to destroy the city with it. But it was ultimately stopped by a group of Aurors."
"That's insane," Hermione said in shock.
"But now it seems that Mr Nicolas Flamel had been present at the time and was involved in preventing the Fiendfyre from getting out of control." Andy guessed.
"By the way, Mrs Bagshot is that famous magical historian, isn't she? I remember you saying that she also lives in Godric's Hollow." Hermione asked.
"Hmm!"
Andy nodded and said, "When you come over, I will take you to visit Mrs Bagshot. She's a knowledgeable scholar who has studied the history of the magical world in great depth."
"Then it's a deal," Hermione exclaimed.
"Tell me more about the magical lore in the Muggle world!" Andy said.
Talking to Hermione all the way through, Andy had gained a lot as well.
The legends about magic in the Muggle world were more or less distorted, but the wizards who could leave their names in the history of the Muggle world were all great wizards of high renown.
In these legends and stories, there were more or less traces of magic left behind. Maybe it was a bit exaggerated, but the magic in those accounts was also a good inspiration for Andy.
For example, Merlin.
In many legends, Merlin was a hybrid of a magical creature and a human, so he was born with powerful magical abilities.
There are many legends about Merlin in the Muggle world.
One of the most famous ones was that Merlin was infatuated with Vivian, the lake fairy, and told Vivian his secret, and was eventually imprisoned and put into deep sleep by Vivian.
And the thing that intrigued Andy the most was - half-blood!
Even in modern times, there are still many half-blood offspring of humans and magical creatures. For example, Hagrid, Hagrid was the half-blood offspring of a human and a giant.
It was conceivable that ancient wizards must have done things like stealing the power of magical creatures by hybridisation.
It is also true that many half-bloods possess magical abilities far beyond those of ordinary wizards.
Not only that; in the magic world, some families have magical abilities that can be passed down in their bloodline.
For example: a certain professor of divination class.
Since he had to choose an elective course in the third year, Andy deliberately investigated the professors of the elective course.
The Divination class professor - Sybill Trelawney was a watered-down professor, but her family was a famous family of Seers in the history of the magic world.
Her ancestor Cassandra Trelawney was a famous Seer.
In Greek legend, Cassandra Trelawney offended Apollo, causing the prophecies she uttered to be a hundred percent accurate.
There are many other similar legends and stories.
Those ancient wizards had either stolen the magical abilities of magical creatures, or they had stolen the abilities of the gods, thus obtaining mighty powers that far exceeded those of ordinary wizards.
These legends intrigued Andy.
Gods and whatnot aside, is there any way to steal the abilities of magical creatures ... other than hybridisation?
In the information left behind by Slytherin, there was a method of using the blood of magical creatures to assist in magic transfiguration.
But this kind of magic transfiguration could not steal the abilities of magical creatures.
'These legends can be studied, though.' Andy thought in his heart.
There are also gods and goddesses ...
There were too many unsolved mysteries in the magic world.
And in comparison, Voldemort was really just an insignificant little character. At the peak of his power, he didn't rule the British magic world, either.
When the train stopped again, it meant that King's Cross Station had arrived.
"Station arrived!"
Andy got up and stretched before waving his wand and taking the suitcase off the rack.
Opening the door, Andy greeted, "Let's go!"
Stepping off the train, Andy caught a glimpse of Helen and Isabel, who were waiting for him on the platform.
"Mum, and Issa."
Andy walked over and said, "Why are you guys in the station?"
"Too many people out there ..."
Helen casually responded, but her eyes were fixed on Hermione who was following Andy, "You're Miss Hermione Granger, aren't you? Andy's mentioned you a lot. Hello!"
"Hello, Mrs Collins!" Hermione said in a hurry.
"Hermione, long time no see." Issa waved.
Andy looked at his sister and then at his mum.
I definitely don't believe there are a lot of people out there!
