The moment Arissa ended her call with Collins, a voice message found its way into her phone. Hearing the notification, she immediately swiped up to see who it could come from.

However, to her astonishment, it was from an unknown number. Curiously, she pressed the voice note to play out.

"I'm here for Jing alone. She's the reason I came down here and I want to speak to her. Do not interfere even if I decide to get married to her now,"

Arissa frowned when she finished listening to the voice note. Wait... That was Nicklaus's voice.

It surprised her she heard Nicklaus's voice speaking of marriage to someone who isn't herself. Also, why would Nicklaus send her something like this with a strange number?

Disturbed, she replayed the voice note. Then, a message came in abruptly, reading, "Your husband seems to be in a haste to abandon you since you no longer have any benefits,"
