Arissa let out a tired grunt as she stared at her reflection on her wall-sized vanity table in her walk-in closet as she got frustrated.

To hide her hickeys, she used a scarf to cover her neck - which was never her dressing taste but she has to since she have to hide the hickeys to avoid unwanted attention. 

The marks were now fully covered unless one takes a closer look at it. Knowing Jocelyn, Arissa does not need to guess what would happen. Her best friend would always scan her appearance to make sure there was nothing amiss and she wouldn't be safe after then. 

If Jocelyn sees these marks, her friend would just kill her as she would imagine the worst scenario. Arissa wasn't ready for her friend's dramatic scene, so she has to hide them which she was doing right now but don't want to wear a scarf around her neck. 

Again, it was sunny, and a turtleneck dress code wasn't advisable. She was so frustrated that she cursed her hormones.
