Nicklaus held her hand tight when she tried to pull it away, "Tell me what happened. What did she say to you?" his voice firm and serious.

He knows how edgy and despicable Raquel can be with her tongue, he also knows Arissa as a highly sensitive human and for her to ask him about Raquel when she isn't someone who cares about that woman, something must have transpired between them and he wants to know every detail about it. 

"She said nothing," she snapped at him, trying to squirm her hand off his hold. He has just too strong, so strong that she was beginning to feel pain from the tight hold. 

Nicklaus stood straight when she tried to act strong, "You can't be this moody if she said nothing," 

Arissa's brow furrowed as she felt insulted by his words. Why was he pressing on the issue? It wasn't like she turned a weakling overnight, or did he take her as one?
