I got out of bed in the middle of the night, my heart racing in my chest as I slowly got out of the sheets. Moonlight flooded in through the curtains, bathing the room in an eerie light. Azar was fast asleep, he didn't even stir as I crept towards the door. I previously drugged his drink making sure he drank all the contents before leaving him to fall asleep in his bedroom.

Heading straight for the wardrobe, I pulled out my cloak and draped it over my head before shooting Azar another look but he was already out cold. The sleeping draught Ivan had given me was potent enough to knock out even the strongest of alpha.

Azar was going to be out throughout the entire night. With the dose I gave him, it will take a miracle if he were to even stir in his sleep.
