We moved through the twisting paths of the forest, my senses on high alert. I notice that her scent was also in the air, it was faint but it was there. Kiran and the rest must have sensed it too because they gave me a look as we continued to move through the forest.

The moon cast a silvery glow over the trees, illuminating our path as we ventured deeper into the darkness. My heart raced with a mixture of anticipation and dread, it's been a while since Arianne has been missing and not knowing where she is was starting to get to me and mess with my wolf who was stirring uncomfortably in my chest, it's sadness evident.
