"It's... it's a good time."
Rias turned her gaze toward the school gate, her expression serious.
A holy aura was radiating from there, making no effort to hide itself, almost like it was trying to get their attention on purpose.
"Akeno, bring them here," Rias ordered.
This bold display from the church members was a clear sign of their arrival.
However, to an unknowing Devil, it could easily look like an outright provocation.
"Yes, Rias."
Akeno nodded and quickly left the clubroom.
A few minutes later, she returned to the Occult Research Club with two girls dressed in white cloaks.
"Please, have a seat," Rias said, gesturing for them to sit.
The two girls nodded, sat on the sofa, and pulled back their hoods, revealing their faces.
Both had sharp, striking features.
One had short blue hair, giving off a capable vibe with a bit of an old-fashioned feel, and she was holding something wrapped in cloth, like a sword.
The other girl, a blonde, had a charming, approachable look, also holding something wrapped in cloth. They were Irina Shidou and Xenovia Quarta.
Rias and Mahiro sat across from the two girls, while Akeno and the others stood behind them.
The room was filled with tension.
"You should already know who I am," Rias began calmly, glancing at the two. "I'm not sure why members of the church would come to see me. What's going on?"
"Thank you for agreeing to meet with us," Xenovia said formally. "I am Xenovia, a Holy Sword wielder from the church."
"And I'm Irina Shidou, also a Holy Sword wielder," Irina added with a bit more cheer in her voice.
"So, what brings the two of you to Kuoh Town?" Rias asked.
"We're on a serious mission," Irina replied. "But since this is your territory, we thought it was right to come and pay our respects to you first."
"Oh?" Rias raised an eyebrow. "A serious mission, and you still decided to enter my territory."
"That's right."
Xenovia and Irina exchanged glances before Xenovia continued. "Recently, the Holy Swords, which were protected by the Vatican, Protestant Church, and the Orthodox Church, were stolen."
"These are fragments of the Holy Sword Excalibur."
"According to legend, Excalibur is an incredibly powerful weapon, almost as strong as a Longinus."
"However, in past battles, the original Excalibur was shattered. The church gathered the fragments and used alchemy to forge seven Holy Swords. While they're not as strong as the original, they're still incredibly dangerous."
"So, the Holy Swords were stolen?" Rias asked, clearly surprised.

As the strongest Holy Sword, Excalibur posed a serious threat to Devils because of its light attribute, which could deal fatal damage. It was a weapon Devils deeply feared.
"Yes. Except for one sword that's still missing, the other six were under the church's protection. Three of those were stolen recently."
Xenovia lifted her cloth-wrapped weapon. "What we have here are the two remaining Holy Swords. This one is Excalibur Destruction."
"I use the Holy Sword of Mimicry," Irina added, pointing to a ribbon tied around her arm. "Its power is to mimic different objects."
"So, you're saying the stolen Holy Swords are in Kuoh Town?" Rias quickly caught on.
"As expected of the sister of Satan," Xenovia nodded.
"Yes, we tracked them to Kuoh Town," Irina confirmed.
"The Holy Swords really are here... No wonder I've been feeling an uneasy atmosphere over the city since last night," Yuuto muttered, squinting in thought.
"So, what do you want us to do?" Rias asked.
"This is the church's matter. Even though it's in Devil territory, we hope that your side won't interfere," Xenovia said firmly.
"Is that a threat?" Rias raised an eyebrow.
"It's not a threat, just a warning," Xenovia replied without hesitation. "But if you interfere, I will see you as an enemy."
"Even if you are the sister of Satan."
"I'm not interested in your church's problems, and I don't want to get involved. But remember, this is Gremory territory," Rias's tone turned cold. "If you cause trouble, I won't hesitate to deal with you."
"It's my job to protect the people in my territory."
"We understand," Xenovia admitted. "But the enemy we're up against is strong, and we can't guarantee success."
"Someone strong enough to steal the Holy Swords from the church... and the church only sends two Holy Sword wielders? Are you sure you're not being sent to die?"
It was at that moment Mahiro finally spoke.
"We're ready to give our lives if necessary," Xenovia said solemnly.
"It was strange from the beginning," Irina said, glancing at Mahiro with curiosity. "This meeting is between us and Devils, so what's with that boy over there?"
She looked at Mahiro. "This is supposed to be a private matter. Why is a regular human involved?"
"Even if he's your contractor, isn't it a bit much to let him in on something this sensitive?" Xenovia added.
"He's my fiancé. There's no need to hide anything from him."
Rias responded without a moment's hesitation.
