章 152: Revenge!

The police officer left Debra's room after two hours of questioning.

Soon after, Debra's attending physician also visited the room to check on his patient's condition. He assured the siblings that Debra's wound is not deep and it will heal within 7 to 10 days. After making sure that his patient is okay and the wound is not bleeding, he left the room.

"Thank God your stab wound is not deep!" Allan said, huge relief washed over him after hearing the doctor's confirmation.

"I'm just lucky, I guess..." Debra said with a gloomy sigh. If the stab reached her vital organs she could already be dead by now. Her body shivered with the terrifying thoughts of her dying at such a young age. She hasn't accomplished much in her life, she wasn't able to marry and have children yet. She doesn't want to die too early! But after experiencing the incident in the street she realized that her life can easily be taken away from her anytime.
