章 43: Insinuating

CHAPTER 43

It felt as though the new week started with Skai as its target, thanks to the numerous high-profile visitors her office got. 

"Mr…"

"Mr. Michael!"

Skai and Davion darted their gazes at the intruder. Standing at her door were none other than her manager and one of her colleagues—their department's team leader and assistant manager.

"Mr. Victor, Mr. Lucien." Skai greeted both men, dipping her head.

To say she was not surprised was an understatement, but then again, having her colleagues pop their heads from their desks, ready to catch what was going on, she should have known. 

"Mr. Michael," Mr. Lucien called out.

Not sure why the sudden arrival and what made everyone react the way they did, Davion gave a small smile. "Good afternoon, Mr. Lucien. How may I help you?"

"I am afraid I have all the help I need here." He gestured towards Skai. "She's the one I want to see."
