Samson slapped his hand on his forehead. He knew instantly that it was because of that cut on her hand. He had suspected that Jacob would try something like this, but when Jacob left so quickly he had let go of his suspicion and simply drove home. Obviously, the bastard had just stayed back to stalk her.

Vampires were hunters and most times when latched on to someone, they wouldn't stop until they had fed from them, sometimes even killed them. Some of them even made sure that they enjoyed the chase. Made their prey scared. Make them run and think that they could escaped. It was a sick thing to do, but it was Jacob, and he was really good at doing shitty things like this.

For some reason, the thought of Jacob laying his hands on this human made his skin crawl, and he wanted so badly to punch Jacob real hard. He would do that definitely, but right now he had to take care of her.
