“Yes, it’s true. You are my Mate, soon to be Vitas Giraud. I never asked you, do you have a middle name you’d like on the marriage certificate?”

“My middle name is Anton, Vitas Anton Kosloff.”

“No little one, Vitas Anton Kosloff-Giraud.”

“Kiss me, Henri. I need to know that you’re here beside me and that I’m not hallucinating in the mushroom cellar because I’m sick.”

Henri touched his lips to Vitas’ mouth, lay down beside him and molded his body to Vitas’. Several minutes later, Henri pulled away from Vitas’ lips and sat up. “It’s real. I love you, little one. I always have. Now find your sleep pants and put on the robe Julio bought you. The robe is at the end of the bed. Aline is bringing us breakfast. We’re going to get married today.”
