Led by Enrique, Xavier and the others followed his lead to a secret door. He wondered how many hidden doors there were in this bar. There were still many other doors that he passed by but suddenly his curiosity arose to open all the doors one by one. But the door in front of him this time led to a staircase created from the ground. It looked natural, but it had taken Enrique months to build the secret passage.
Cytherea couldn't see anything down there, it was so dark that her ears were ringing as she tried to increase her visual acuity. Seeing the guests' reactions of slight confusion and nausea, Enrique tapped the wall quietly twice. Somehow all the torches mounted on the wall instantly lit up, warming up the previously cold and dark shortcut.
"Does that also include your magic? It seems like you've learnt a lot since our breakup." Xavier marvelled, his hands almost reflexively clapping.
"Modern researchers or scientists would probably call this invention 'technology'. But I don't understand this very complicated conversation."
Xavier nodded. He understood that his senior was very protective of the labotary used by researchers in developing defences and attacks.
"It's just a trick I developed with Connor. He really likes to complete requests that are quite complicated for most people."
"You praise me too much, Mr Enrique. In fact, you have quite a genius mind. I'm just developing what you think."

They travelled along the only road with no end in sight. Cytherea complained about how hard she was breathing and became dizzy and nauseous within minutes. Enrique, who knew the fact that she had a weakness, apologised and tried to take another path. But his partner didn't care and forced Enrique to take the predetermined path.
Neither of them knew where this path would lead. Neither Enrique nor Connor explained anything until they arrived at a place the guest had visited. A log among the rocks was pushed by Enrique, leading to a place inside the market.
"Go up slowly. I don't want the market guards to notice any suspicious movements here." Enrique reminded Xavier and Cytherea.
The next second, the Goddess came out first. As before, her breath seemed to be held and she could now inhale a lot of air. Her chest deflated, her face slightly pale and sweaty. She vowed to curse Xavier and his friend if they were to go down the same path in the future.
Xavier paid absolutely no attention to his every word and preferred to observe what room was above the shortcut. "Hmm... I seem to be familiar with this place."
"You were right, Mr Xavier. In front of this room is where we first met before you learnt the faster way."
"This place used to be my most comfortable retreat. I stored many memories and files in this place. Before destroying this place, I should at least take my valuables. For example, this pile of gold." while explaining, Enrique kicked a worn-out wooden chest. The lid opened wide to reveal an uncountable pile of sparkling gold.
"All this gold... is it yours, Senior Enrique?" Xavier gaped, the first time the Goddess noticed that expression from her partner.
"More precisely, all this gold belongs to the vendors in this market. I converted all of their money into gold so that I could more easily store a large amount of money. Eittss, but don't get me wrong. I have never been corrupt since the beginning of my term. I plan to use all this gold for village development. It's just that this much gold is still relatively insufficient, even only 50 per cent of the total construction cost."
"It's not lacking, it's just that your standards are too perfect, Senior Enrique."
Enrique chuckled softly while scratching the back of his head. "Never mind, help me pick up all this gold into this black sack. I don't want all my gold to attract bandits during the journey."

All the gold in the chest had been transferred into the black sacks he had provided. So much so, that it took two black sacks and the second one left no room for additional gold. It didn't take long but the market guards repeatedly passed by the office when they occasionally heard suspicious sounds. They were quite good at hiding behind tables and under logs that they used as shortcuts.
"We can't stay here too long. Connor, you help Xavier carry all this gold. Are you up to it?" Enrique didn't mean to underestimate his friend even though his size was slightly different from other humans his age.
"It's very easy. You just focus on what needs to be done to destroy this building." Connor didn't feel burdened.
"Alright. You all wait for me on the hill, near the well. I'll catch up with you after the business is done."
"Then what are you going to do? You're not asking us for help?" Xavier asked as if he wanted to be involved in the plan this time. But he knew what answer his senior would give.
Enrique did not answer, the next second he left the room stealthily, leaving them without looking back.
"It seems like he wants to solve his problem with the sellers by himself. Instead of resisting, we'd better wait on that hill. Follow me." Connor broke the silence and led them back the same way.
"Wait?! This way again?! Do you want to kill me?!" Cytherea refused and spoke quite loudly. Until the market guard's steps could be heard.
Not wanting this simple plan to fail, Xavier was forced to lightly punch the back of her neck. In the next second, Cytherea lost consciousness and was carried out by Xavier.
"Sorry, Foolish Goddess, but you're very noisy."

Sneaking and hiding behind the kiosk made for a safe hiding place. Enrique did not have any talent in disguise or the like. It was just that amateur guards like them wouldn't be able to catch him even if he eventually created a sound that would make him unable to hide anymore.
'It's easy. I must hurry and not keep them waiting.' A flick of the hand produced a small flame on his finger. He was trying to burn this building down until there were no treasures left.
