章 139: Southern Women

Hazel didn't belong here in the middle of someone else's wedding. As a stranger, she had no place being involved in the most important day of Savannah's life.

Her wedding hadn't been like that. She thought she was marrying a perfect stranger out of desperation. Come to think of it, she couldn't place the most important day of her life off the top of her head.

Was it the night she met Will? The day she got into college? The day he told her the truth about who he was?

If she had to pick a single one, it was probably when she first met Will. The entire course of her future changed because of that meeting. She would have spent the rest of her life in that terrible place or another just like it if he hadn't been there to teach her to write.

He was the reason she broke her four-year-long silence too. She never would have been able to go to school or become a professional artist if not for him.
