Time went on. Hazel used her accent at home until she felt more comfortable with it and watched a lot of TV to get a better feel for the way people talked here as well. She pored over slang dictionaries online and spent more time out of the house listening to other people once was sure she wouldn't slip up as easily.
She ended up spending a lot of time outside once the weather got nicer. It was strange getting used to the temperature difference between here and Utah but hopefully this would be the last time her body had to adjust to something like that.
The estate they lived in had several beautiful parks. Hazel wanted to do paintings of the scenery, including the wisteria archway she saw only once as they were buying the house.
Her life here had largely involved staying inside unless she was going to the doctor for pregnancy checkups or going to the store because she wasn't confident about her ability to sound British. That could finally change now.
Thank you to each and every one of the beautiful readers who helped my other novels' ratings become visible! As promised, your mass release to the end starts now :)
