章 176: Chapter 176: The Time Turner Conjecture

Under the warm morning sun.

Ino stood quietly on the lawn, watching Hagrid excitedly teach the young wizards how to open the Monster Book of Monsters.

There were some things he didn't plan to intervene in.

Whether it was Hagrid or Draco, they both needed to learn a lesson.

People can't be taught by others; only experiences can teach them.

Only by experiencing things personally can they avoid making mistakes next time and realize that not everything will always turn out fine.

...

Hagrid's lesson continued.

Looking at the simple-minded professor, Draco couldn't help but think of Goyle, and thus he wore an expression of disdain throughout.

Despite his disdain, Draco followed the instructions and managed to open the Monster Book of Monsters.

Probably because Hagrid's explanation was so detailed, Draco felt that if he didn't follow through, others might think he was lacking in intelligence.

But to Hagrid, this was seen as a successful teaching outcome.

Once all the students had successfully opened their books, Hagrid nodded with satisfaction and his loud voice echoed in everyone's ears.

"Alright, now the real lesson begins! You all stay here and don't move. I'm going to bring the magical creature over. I'm sure you'll love these little darlings!"

With that, Hagrid strode towards the Forbidden Forest, leaving his hunting dog Fang behind, seemingly to guard the students.

"Who knows what that big oaf will bring out? If you ask me, he should just stick to being the gamekeeper. Hogwarts has really gone downhill, letting anyone become a professor."

Draco sneered, his words dripping with sarcasm.

"Malfoy!" Harry was furious and was about to argue with Draco when Ron held him back firmly.

"Let it go, Harry! Ignore him. This is Hagrid's first class." Ron whispered in Harry's ear, trying to calm him down.

Times had changed. The memory of being hung in the air still lingered in Ron's mind, especially since he was only wearing his robes today...

The shared memory made Harry recall last year's incident too. After a brief struggle, he stopped arguing.

Seeing this, Draco was annoyed.

He preferred it when the scarhead fought back; this easy submission was boring.

...

Time slowly passed.

Hagrid was leading a large magical creature toward them.

Seeing Hagrid's figure, Draco chose to fall silent, as the man was, after all, nominally a professor.

As Hagrid approached, everyone could see the magical creature hidden behind him.

It was a bizarre-looking creature with the head and wings of an eagle but the body of a horse, looking like a monster made from the parts of two different animals.

"A 3x Hippogriff, Hagrid has gone mad!"

In the Gryffindor group, Hermione couldn't help but exclaim.

"When did you get here?" Harry and Ron turned around simultaneously, surprised.

Ino also noticed this scene. Hermione seemed to have appeared out of nowhere.

He was sure she hadn't been there with the Gryffindor group earlier. He initially thought it was a butterfly effect, that Hermione didn't choose twelve subjects, but now it seemed...

Thinking of this, he quietly looked at Hermione's neck. Sure enough, hanging below her fair neck was a delicate pendant.

"The most mysterious item in the whole story!" Ino murmured to himself.

From any angle, he always thought the Time Turner was an existence that transcended dimensions, or rather, it shouldn't exist at all.

Playing with fate will eventually lead to being played by fate.

The price for stealing time might not just be accelerated aging.

Though he thought this way, he was considering another possibility at the moment.

If the Time Turner accelerated time consumption, could it directly benefit the sanctuary, opening the next fantasy journey in a short time?

Ino fell into deep thought but forgot to retract his gaze.

...

In the Gryffindor group.

Hermione had already lowered her head and stopped talking. She had noticed Ino's gaze from the beginning.

But she hadn't expected him to stare at her so openly. Although she felt a bit shy, a strange kind of joy also crept in.

However, when some rejoice, others suffer.

In the Slytherin group, Pansy couldn't stand it anymore.

She couldn't understand why Ino was staring. They were all wearing the same black robes, nothing worth looking at.

"Hmph!"

A muffled hum sounded in Ino's ear, and he turned around in surprise.

"Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, just a bit of a sore throat." Pansy looked away uncomfortably.

Her disingenuous response made Draco stifle a laugh, and Daphne nearly burst out laughing.

At the same time, feeling the gaze disappear, Hermione looked up. She was no longer shy.

She calmly scrutinized the black-haired girl opposite her, and Pansy didn't avoid her gaze either.

Their eyes met, but the large figure of Buckbeak blocked their view.

"Quick, hurry up!" Hagrid tightly held the end of the chain, urging loudly.

The Hippogriff's eyes were special, a strange orange color, making it look wild and unruly.

Just its appearance made the young wizards step back a few paces, looking at the creature in fear.

Seeing this, Ino shook his head helplessly. He had to admit, he admired Hagrid's courage.

Facing third-year wizards, he dared to bring a 3x magical creature. Perhaps the only one to benefit from this class was Hagrid himself.

Truly, one learns from experience.

At the same time.

Hagrid tied the Hippogriff to the fence and then turned to face the students.

"I bet you haven't seen this creature before. It's a Hippogriff! If you want a closer look, feel free to come closer!"

Hagrid introduced with great enthusiasm, patting his chest and assuring them:

"Don't worry, it's generally not dangerous. I mean, as long as you don't anger it, so make sure not to provoke it!"

Hagrid's so-called assurance was met with skeptical looks from the students.

They initially thought the Hippogriffs just looked scary, but now it seemed they could actually cause harm.

Seeing the scene turn cold, Hagrid was at a loss, things not going as he had planned.

"See, Buckbeak is very docile!"

Hagrid's huge hand "gently" patted the Hippogriff.

The creature, seemingly unable to bear the force, clawed at the ground, leaving deep scratches.

This operation made the students step back again.

Hagrid looked around in confusion.

Suddenly, he seemed to find a savior and looked at the Gryffindor group.

"Harry!"

...

Some say fate is hard to change.

But in fact, some things are really destined, like Hagrid, like Draco.

Their personalities mean they are bound to encounter certain things. Delays or advancements don't matter; what is destined will happen.

Just as the Hippogriff's claws were about to reach Draco, Ino quietly waved his wand.

"Protego!"

The sharp claws of Buckbeak struck the invisible shield charm, not only making a harsh sound but even sparking.

From Draco's fall to Buckbeak's attack, it all happened in an instant.

This sudden change not only frightened Draco but also left Hagrid standing there in shock.

...

The first Care of Magical Creatures class for the third years ended abruptly.

After class, Ino stayed behind for a moment. He now planned to talk to Hagrid about the Acromantulas.

A person who could breed new species through hybrid technology might really have a way to improve the Acromantulas.

After all, these spiders were quite fragile. They might be useful as jungle assassins occasionally.

But in a frontal confrontation, they might not even withstand an attack from the Wargs of Middle-earth.
