章 17: Chapter seventeen “I’m sorry I ever loved you”
Shuuichi watched as Kira entered the building, he leaned back into his queen's breasts and smirked, he already knew what to do to win. He had countless women at his disposal. Why would he fight when he could have them fight, it was a perfect plan.
"That isn't very prideful." A familiar voice whispered into Shuichi's ear
"Uh! …Oh it's you."He looked to see Arme Rina standing there with a devilish smile.
"Hello, 'great king'."
"What do you want?"
"Heh, well you seem to have been taking the easy way out, you're not using the pride we gave you, instead you are using your minions? Slaves? Whatever you call them doesn't matter, using other people to fight your battles doesn't really say prideful,"
"Well what do you want? I can't fight, so I wear him down with my slaves then when he reaches me out of energy I can easily kill him, it's a perfect plan."
"It's not a plan full of pride, it's a coward's plan."
"Well, you didn't give me the ability to fight, you gave me the ability to rewrite reality, a power that seems to have not affected him. So if anything this is your fault." Rina's eyes narrowed, staring into Shuuichi's soul.
"Is that really what you think?" She asked, her voice beating a cold breath. Shuuichi shook a little, his hair sticking up.
"Y-yes. You gave me the power, yet it didn't work on him so it's your fault."
"It's not my fault. That boy would be unaffected no matter what you did."
"Wh-why? What makes him so special!? I'm the king here! Not him!" He yelled in her face.
"You are no king, you are an idiotic child that we gave powers too. Powers you don't even fully understand. We never gave you the ability to rewrite reality, we only ever gave you the ability to alter people's perception of reality."
"What does that mean?"
"If you don't know what that means, maybe you weren't meant to inherit this pride."
"Y-your not gonna take the power away are you?"
"Maybe, I'll need to discuss this with my mistress."

Pride sat in her seat in her room watching Kira venture through the tower knocking out people that attacked him and then kissing them to free them from the control of Shuuichi. Pride sighed seeing Shuuichi's cowardly plan when a call came through to her old blue rotary phone.
"What is it, Arme Rina?"
"Greetings mistress, I am calling to ask if you want me to revoke his pride privilege?"
"…I would say yes, but our anomaly is almost there, I saw we let him finish this. You can leave him be for now."
"Yes mistress."

Kira took his spear and whacked it on the head of Hasegawa Ayano.
"Sorry Ayano-sensei," he said as he leaned down, picking up her head and leaning down to place his lips on hers. As he got closer to her a kick came flying toward him. He rushed to move but didn't want to drop Ayano's head and hurt her so he placed her down and took the hit.
"Sorry, Vallery but you're not laying a hand on the king's mistress." A familiar voice said to Kira. He looked up to see a familiar head of red hair and red-orange eyes.
"Hello, Yoshii. Good to see you, I'm gonna have to ask you to move."
"Hmph, I can't do that. We need to take you to the king."
"Really? 'We'? I hate to break it to you but your partner is kinda already decommissioned at the moment." He jestered to Ayano.
"Not her." Yoshii smiled and slowly walked toward Kira full of confidence.
"If not her then who?" He asked fixing his spear toward her.
"How cruel, you forgot about me." Shinna Hitomi said, wrapping her hands around Kira from behind.
"Shinna!?" He struggled as her grip tightened around him. Shinna leaned into him and whispered,
"If you escape, the king has commanded me to kill my self."
"What!? Ok, ok you win." Kira didn't hesitate and dropped his spear. Shinna gave a smile as she looked at Yoshii with a smile that said 'I did it'.
"Good boy." Yoshii said as she caressed his chin. "You look so cute when you're desperate." She brought her face close to him and whispered in his other ear, "I really liked you, too bad you had to go against the king. So as a parting gift I will leave you with a kiss." Yoshii brought her face close to his and brought her lips close to Kira, "I really loved you." She kissed him quick and fast, not giving him a moment to comprehend the fact that she stabbed him in the stomach. "Long live the king." She said as tears fell from her eyes uncontrollably. She wiped her eyes but the tears kept falling she looked at Kira who freed a hand and he brought his hand to her face and said in a pained breath
"It's not your fault," he said wiping the tears from her face before he lost all movement in his body… and died

"…WHAT THE FUCK!!" Wrath yelled looking at the screen on the table that showed Kira's death. Gluttony laid back in his chair with an expression of defeat. Lust she's a single tear before turning her head, he reminded her of the son she lost in the convergence, it was like losing him all over again. Sloth looked at the screen and sighed, she stood up and jumped onto the table walking right over to the screen she then watched as the screen began to consume her.
"SLOTH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!??" Gluttony yelled jumping into the table to stop her.
"I'm saving our last hope," she said as a green glow object was ejected from her shadow. Sloth picked up the clock and whispered into it her desire.
"Sloth no, this could kill you!" Lust yelled as the ground around her began to break and she fell into the screen faster. Wrath got up from her seat to get pride, as she pushed open the door she was met with a panicked pride who's hair was messed up as she stared at the dead Kira Vallery. She turned to wrath and saw from behind her the situation, she bolted out and grabbed sloth just as Gluttony was. They both pulled on Gluttony and tried to pull her up but the screen was stronger. Their grips were loosened as sloth fell deeper and deeper into the screen, and soon sloth vanished into it.
"Sloth!" Gluttony yelled as the palace they were in began to crack and soon Greed and envy ran out from their rooms and saw the palace falling apart.
"What happened!?" Envy yelled through the falling rubble.
"Sloth, she, she invoked her authority!" Pride yelled.
"What!? We're all going to die!!" Greed yelled as he panicked and ran to the table to try to get to the screen and follow sloth into it. Gluttony punched greed off the table and then jumped down from the table as his shadow grew and a black blob of hunger appeared from it.
"I'm not letting you do that! You will never hurt another person, ever again!" He yelled as the blob came down and tried to eat him. The blob was stopped by a giant golden pole.
"So that's how you really feel? Well can't say I'm surprised, guess I'll just have to kill you." The golden pole appeared in his hand and changed into a giant hammer, greed ran effortlessly with the hammer and jumped, planning to swing it down on Gluttony. As they fought the sound of a crisp snap was heard and all of them stopped, or it would be more accurate to say that they were frozen.
"Hahaha, it seems something exciting has happened here." A golden voice echoed through the falling apart castle. They all recognized that voice and all knew who it belonged to
'The savior!!' They thought at the same time.
"Well it seems that things got complicated here too," he smiled and laughed at the irony of this happening twice. "So you lost your anomaly here too." He said pulling up a picture of Kira dead in Shinnas arm as she and Yoshii brought it to Shuuichi. "Though it seems this one would have lived if not for the overgrown ego of one of you." He said picking up pride from the ground. His giant hand made pride look small; she hated that. The savior laughed at prides thoughts and unfroze her.
"Savior, why do you interfere? We had it handled," she said with a confident look.
"Handled, hmm. You call this handled" he gestures to the mess of the palace and Gluttony and greed fighting.
"I'll admit it was a mess but it can all be fixed."
"…It can not be fixed, at least not by your hands. You are in luck, another world failed their anomaly too, though there's was due to the anomaly not…fitting right." He said hesitantly
"What does that mean?" Pride questioned
"Nothing that concerns you, but I am willing to give you a chance, this result is of immense interest to me. Two dead anomaly's less than a day apart both stabbed by the person that was a part of their fate." He looked down at the screen at the table that was glowing a bright green and refroze pride as he brought his finger down to touch it. When he touched it the light shined bright causing him to look away and then a smile fell upon his gold covered face. He put pride down and then clapped his hands as his wife smile never faded, "It shall be, that this was always the case." A golden light surrounded the palace and soon it vanished.

Shinna and Yoshii brought the dead body of Kira to Shuuichi. He looked down and a bright smile shone upon his face he looked to the side and stared at a surprised Arme Rina and said
"I listened to you, you were right wearing him down and then killing would be no fun. So I figured why have him be killed by someone who loved them. Hahahaaha isn't it brilliant!!" Rina looked at him and then she vanished before his eyes. "…coward." He then jumped off his throne and walked over to Kira's corpse; he passed by Yoshii and Shinna who were both crying with a forced smile on their faces. "Ugh, you look ugly stop crying and get out of my face." He demanded.
"Yes, your highness." They bowed and began to walk away when the ground began to shake violently.
"What is this, an earthquake?"
"Something much worse." A crisp voice whispered in his ear. He turned around to see who it was but none was there.
"Who was that!!" He yelled but was soon stopped by a piece of falling rubble that fell and crushed beneath him. At that moment everyone became free from his control, Yoshii fell to her knees and weeped as she felt the guilt of killing Kira hit her in a wave of despair. She hurled as she grabbed the knife and stabbed herself repeatedly. Yoshii now having lost most of her blood crawled over to Kira and laid next to him as her world darkened she got out her last words
"I'm sorry I ever loved you."
