章 24: Doll face

"What is wrong with you?" Daphne tried to hold Nyla's hand, but Nyla pushed her away.

"Daphne!" Esther shouted as she rushed to hold Daphne before she fell on the floor. Even though she had seen Nyla push Daphne, Esther would like to believe that it was a misunderstanding. But Nyla didn't show any sign of regret and there was no apology coming out of her. "Are you okay?" Esther asked Daphne who was finally able to balance her feet on the ground again. 

"Did you see that?" Bella whispered to Adriel who nodded at her. They were both shocked by Nyla's action.

"Thank you," Daphne said to Esther. "Stop Nyla!" She shouted.

Nyla stopped but didn't bother to turn and face Daphne. 

"I'm fine, I need to talk to her," Daphne said to Esther who was stopping her from going to Nyla. 

Esther left Daphne and let her walk alone to meet Nyla.
