Ji Chuan pursed his lips while biting the lower one. He wanted to marry a woman with no official husband or concubines but now it seemed like it was impossible. Because of Ji Shixun, he was not in a situation where he could even think of marrying a woman.

"Don't look like that," Old Madam Ji knew what Ji Chuan was thinking and sighed. She said to him, "I know that you don't want to get married because of what happened to your father but have you ever thought about what would happen to you if you don't marry?" 

Ji Chaun stayed quiet and Old Madam Ji understood that he was blaming her for not stopping his mother.
