章 1634: Here to take away

Yu Jiao Yu was a smart mer, his intuition seemed to be telling him that there was something that Gao Ci was hiding and it was not a good thing. 

He was really smart ever since he was young, so even though Li Hanyang had been buttered up nicely by Gao Ci— he was not going to believe anything that came out of the mouth of that treacherous woman. 

However, there was a small problem, Yu Jiao Yu had little to no say in the family. 

Gao Ci's sharp voice came from the other room all of a sudden, "Hanyang, Your mer son is not bad at all, he is getting prettier by the day," she praised the little mer who went to serve a few snacks to the two women who were drinking.

"Humph! He is just a fox, getting more and more sly as he gets older," Li Hanyang answered with a snort, she had once liked Yu Jiao Yu a lot but as the mer got older, Li Hanyang started despising him.
