“Perhaps this might be the time to take Malossini out of the picture.” I hated ordering any of my men to kill, but this wasn’t the time to be fastidious. “What do you think…Gino?”
“Being out of the country should make it easier to dispose of him,” he agreed easily. “As you say, Mr Burdon is concerned. I’ve worked for him long enough to know he doesn’t like being concerned…it aggravates his ulcer. If I give him a bit of a nudge, he might be willing to look the other way.” His confidence in his abilities was evident.

“I know, sir.” There was amusement in his voice. “That thing you have against funerals. I’ll be careful,” he promised, and once again he hung up without saying goodbye.
