In the halls of the Su Clan, three figures stood there quietly, gazing at each other. Two of them were old men while the other one was the well-known middle-aged man, Captain Liu, who currently had a grave expression on his face.
"Uncle Zheng, Uncle Guan, we laid him on the bed and it...collapsed under his weight. We took him to another room and..."
Black lines formed on the two old men's faces as they listened to Captain Liu's report. The young man, which they thought was an immortal fell into the clan early in the afternoon.
It was currently late at night and they still couldn't find a bed that could support the young man's weight. Even the stone on the floor couldn't handle it for more than a few seconds.
Uncle Zheng sighed as he said slowly, "Let's go to where he is, we need to find somewhere strong enough to hold him. Who knows how he'll react if he wakes up and finds out that we left him on the floor..."
As the three men quickly headed to the young man's location, the guards responsible for keeping watch over him were currently frozen in fear. This was because something unprecedented happened.
The young man had woken up!
"Ugh, that damn woman didn't tell me my mind and body would be riddled with pain as soon as I entered the portal. Even my eyes felt like they were about to explode. Tch!"
The young man, who was, of course, Ta Sen, opened his eyes to find himself being held up by over one dozen guards. The sound of heavy breathing and teeth chattering entered his ears. He felt the hands that were holding him up shaking furiously as if they were stricken by a disease.
Ta Sen was calm as he looked at this scene. When his gaze swept over the men that were holding him, each of them closed their eyes instantly as if they were stricken by the light of the sun.
'I'm guessing I must've fallen into their home. Since they're struggling to lift me they must not be that strong, so I guess this is one of the better places I could've dropped in.'
Coming to this conclusion, Ta Sen said calmly, "I can stand."
"Sir Immortal Sir, we don't dare!"
"Your Highness, Your Majesty, Senior, you can stand on our backs! How could we dare to let you sully your feet on our floor?"
"Immortal Sir, if you let us go, I'll make sure to gift you, my daughter, and my wife!"
Ta Sen's expression was calm on the outside but on the inside, he was shocked.
'They think I'm an immortal? Sigh...this guy even offered me his family...this is going to be annoying.'
Ta Sen's eyebrows furrowed as he was about to say something else but then he realized 3 new people had arrived at the door of the room. Of course, the three people were Uncle Zheng, Uncle Guan, and Captain Liu.
When they saw the expression on his face, they immediately thought the soldiers did something wrong. Now that Ta Sen's eyes were open, there were no longer any doubts in anyone's hearts that he was an immortal.
There was simply no way that a mortal's eyes could be that...terrifying.
Ta Sen ignored the 3 people and once again said, this time in a frustrated tone, "Put me down. I can stand."
"Quickly, put him down!"
Uncle Zheng shouted at the guards who were still in a daze, thinking of ways to get Ta Sen's favor. They quickly woke up and slowly put Ta Sen down, not daring to make any sudden movements.
When he got close enough to the ground, Ta Sen pushed himself off of the hands of the guards and stood on the ground, causing cracks to spread. When he noticed that and his destroyed surroundings, he immediately understood what the culprit was.
'Decrease, Yeoui.'
An ordinary-looking small pillar of stone with golden edges was wrapped around Ta Sen's neck acting as a pendant for a necklace. The pillar suddenly let out a shook and the weight on Ta Sen decreased drastically, allowing him to move around freely.
In the midst of everyone's reverent gazes, Ta Sen looked around the luxurious-looking room for a mirror and immediately found one hanging up on the wall. A strange glint flashed through his eyes as he walked towards it, curious about his appearance after he gained his powers.
When he stopped in front of the mirror and saw his appearance, especially his eyes, he was...impressed, to say the least. He had fair skin with golden hair, golden eyes complete with a few extra kinks. His right eye had the Ω (Omega) symbol in it, while his left eye had the α (Alpha) symbol in it and his right eye was a red three-eyed tattoo.
The body he was in was around 17 years old and he was around 6 feet, 5 inches tall, which was above average for his age.
So it was safe to say that there was nothing 'ordinary' about the way Ta Sen looked. Wherever he went, eyes would definitely be drawn to his unusual appearance.
But, in the end, he was still happy with it.
'Enough of that, I need to figure where I am and what the situation is around me. The situation could still be dangerous.'
Turning around to face Uncle Zheng, Uncle Guan, and Captain Liu, Ta Sen said calmly, "I'm guessing you three are the leaders of this Clan. My name is Ta Sen. How may I address you?"
Snapping out of his daze, the trio bowed with their fists cupped while responding earnestly with their names, and the names of the important members in the clan.
Uncle Zheng and Uncle Guan were two of the top experts in the Clan while Captain Liu wasn't far behind in strength. The current head of the clan was a man named Su Hong while the Second Young Master was named Su Zimo.
They were a part of the four great families. The others were called the Zhao, Lee, and Yang families. Together, they all ruled Ping Yang Town.
"Thank you for the information, Mister Zheng. Also, thank you for taking care of me when I was unconscious. As a way of gratitude, I owe you a favor as long as it's anything within my power to achieve."
Uncle Zheng's eyes lit up when he heard Ta Sen's words. Who wouldn't be giddy when they heard that they could ask a favor from an immortal?
Uncle Zheng walked forward with a large smile on his face as he cupped his fists toward Ta Sen and said loudly, "Haha well, I'll have to trouble you then, Senior Ta Sen! Come, come to the main hall of the clan, we will treat you to some of our best alcohol and go over some private matters."
Ta Sen gave a small smile and nodded as he clasped his hands behind his back and walked out of the room with the two old men in tow. He was curious about what would ask, especially since they didn't even bother to conceal their intentions when he said they could ask for a favor.
As he glanced up into the night sky and saw the beautiful stars and aurora's, he thought, 'Hopefully, it's something that allows me to fight. I need to train as possible. If not...then I'll have to force the situation.'
