章 11: Losing Hope
The fact that it was so quiet outside made everyone begin to wonder if their other classmates were still alive. All in different locations but one way out. They all could only hope that one of the classmates would find the way out and be their savior. The problem being not everyone was aware where the bus driver was and how would they know if the one who found the keys would leave them behind to die? The lingered in the back of everyone's minds, especially Ash who was still curled up in a ball while hiding his face. He couldn't seem to control his breathing as he was having a panic attack. "I don't want to die.. I don't want to die.." He kept muttering to himself.
Eric wasn't near him as he was actually upstairs looking through a hole from the boarded up window. Looking for any sign of hope that anyone else was out there and alive, he was disappointed when he didn't see anyone. "Damnit.. please tell me the others are still alive." He pleaded.
As he made his way downstairs, he notice that Craig was finally waking up which caused Tweek to freak out and hug the boy. Knowing they had to stay hush toned to prevent others from knowing their location, Ash quickly ran over and softly spoke. "Craig.. are you okay?"
Craig was shivering as he looked around. He felt traumatized and words couldn't describe how he truly felt. He honestly couldn't get a single word as he simply shook his head. Seeing the fact that he didn't focally say no, really said something. "C-Craig.. GAH! I'm so sorry, it should have been me.. I s-should have done something, I should have done anything. I c-can't believe they did that to you!" Tweek said while tightening his hug.
Craig's eyes looked over at the boy and showed heavy eyes of sorrow and regret as he hugged back. "No Tweek, don't you fucking say that. None of this should have ever happened to us, to Clyde.. to Token." Tears formed on all the boys eyes as the majority of some silently cried while the other did his best to hold it in. "We will live on and carry their memories on, they will never be forgotten and we will tell the people of South Park what happened here today." Craig said while looking up at the three.
"But what if we don't make it, what if they find us and we end up like Clyde and Token?" Ash choked up with tears falling.
"It's not going to happen. We have weapons now, I don't have a problem stabbing one of those fuckers in the face." Craig said.
"That's right, if we see another one of those assholes we will show them who they messed with." Cartman stated while rubbing Ash's back.
"Alright but the next question is what is the next plan? How exactly do we get out of this hell hole?" Ash asked.
"Well first of all we had to find the bus driver cuz he has the set of keys. That being said I don't know where the hell he would be." Craig said as Tweek helped him Stan on his feet.
"Wait... I thought I saw someone going in the dumpster, Eric do you remember when we were on the bus and I pointed out someone opening the dumpster near the gas station then it they were gone? What if he's hiding in there this whole time?!" Ash asked as if he solved a crime.
"If that was the case he most likely would have driven away by now." Craig said.
"But what if he's waiting at the bus for us to arrive? Think about it, why would he leave us all here to die?" Ash asked.
"Gah!! H-He wouldn't D-Do that, w-would he?!" Tweek spazzed while looking over at Craig.
"Have you see the teachers at our school, their pretty stupid and selfish." Craig pointed out.
"Guys, we should leave and check to see if we can find him or even wait on the bus?" Ash suggested which made Tweek panic more.
"ARGH W-WHAT IF IT'S FILLED WITH THOSE BAD GUYS?!"
"Tweek, calm down. We need to get out of this mess somehow and staying here isn't going to solve anything." Craig said while giving Tweek a final hug, almost as if he knew they weren't going to live on. "Tweek you just have to trust me when I say we will live to see other day." Pulling away from the hug and placing both hands on the blonde's face he placed his forehead on his boyfriend's, "I love you Tweek. As long as I'm by your side I will always protect you. You got that?"
Tweek nodded while closing his eyes. "I-I've never been more s-scared my entire l-life Craig." He said while letting his tears flow off his cheeks. At that moment he felt something warm and soft on his lips. Opening his eyes, his heart warmed as he saw Craig giving him a sweet kiss on the lips.
"Don't be scared honey, I got you and I'm never letting go."
