章 37: I am Disgusted

It was as if I hadn't received news more worse than this. Edward was captured by that rat Warwick, and now my Brother and father they were dead.
I couldn't believe it, I will not, I want someone to tell me right now that this is a joke. Because it's not a funny one, my worst fears had come true.
I couldn't believe it, I couldn't. This was certainly a Joke, Antony had to be joking. It's what he's best at.
I was not going to believe it, they couldn't be dead. I can not live without them! "No. They can't be, Antony tell me your Joking, please Antony!" My eyes widened when I saw the expression on my brother's face, he was not Joking. He was playing around, my father and brother were dead.
My sobs had filled the room once, but now I don't think I could hold them back. My knees buckled, and I was ready to fall to the ground and cry. "They were beheaded. There was no charge, no trial, only the word of Warwick."
"No! Edward Said... You! You all escaped!" I was still hoping maybe they were spared. But I know that Warwick shows no mercy when he's king making again.
He wants to put George on the throne because he no longer holds control over Edward, nor does Edward trust him. The king showed him that he makes his own decisions.
And this is how Warwick reacts, by calling war on the King Of England, and then beheading his in-laws.
I am disgusted. I have never met a man so weak, he uses other men to get what he wants.
"There was an ambush. They were waiting on the road ahead." Warwick had been planning this attack for the past 3 years. He had been dreaming about how he was gonna cut our heads off, one by one. And I bet you he'd probably leave our blood there for generation to go.
If he shows no mercy, nor shall I. He will die, one way or another, I will make sure of it. I'll make sure his head is on my wall. Not the other way around. I broke, "No, Antony! No, God! No! Say it's not true, Antony!" That is when I collapsed on the ground completely.
Admitting was worse than actually having it said to you. No one wants to admit that your enemy has gotten to you. But my biggest weakness are the people I love, my family, my husband, my children. My brother and Father we're apart of that weakness.
And Warwick took that away from me. He cut my brother and Father's life short. He cut it so short, they had so much more to live for. He didn't just cut There life, but he cut their heads off too. What am I to do, what about my mother. My sisters will grow up without a father by their side.
When I collapsed with me, It did not hit him until then. We cried, we cried until we couldn't anymore. What is there left to do, because I certainly know I will not surrender. It he wants war, that is exactly what we are going to give him.
He will not win, he will not win.
God please tell me, why must my life be so difficult. These are challenges that we must face, but why did they have to leave when the battle had only started.
What we must focus on now is getting Edward back to safety. Without a King, England will fall apart. Edward's letter put little hope in me, If Warwick did not intend to kill the king, what did he intend to do?
