章 58: Lips of an angel

A blinding flash of light lit up the back passenger compartment of the limousine temporarily blinding Zeph and Krynienne for a few seconds. Zeph thought for a moment that Nixi got scared and climbed onto his lap and wrapped her arms around his neck, so he moved to wrap his arms around her waist to comfort her.

As his eyes slowly regained their focus, Zeph could tell that the color of the hair hanging down over his eyes was not black. Quite the opposite it was blonde, almost white at such an extremely close distance. The feeling on his lips felt different to, and only slightly familiar.

"Siael!"

"Zeph."

"Husband, care to explain why you have another woman in your lap when I thought you wanted to have me for lunch?"

"I umm, ahh, you remember the talk we had in the living room with your father this morning. I will give you one guess as to who this is."

"You just said her name. I didn't ask who, I said why."
