Two more people dressed in black hoodies bolted out of the dark ally way, tearing off down the road in the same directing as the college aged guy holding the clear plastic bottle in his hand. Zeph now had three different suspicious individuals running as fast as they could to get away from him, and even if he had average stamina ,or slightly better than average stamina, chasing down three people, and getting them in hand cuffs would be a difficult challenge that only a seasoned officer would be able to pull off. Considering that the guy with the clear bottle in his hand yelled run, yelling; "Stop Neph Enforcement." was going to do little good. This left Zeph with a few choices. He could chase after them, and hope that he could catch one of them, preferably catching the collage kid that had what looked like a bottle of pills in it. Call for back up, as suggested by Captain Halt, the donut desk officer, and the Standards for Patrol and Interrogation of Suspects manual. Or Zeph could just whip out his Silver Titanium Mark Six SLP, shoot all three of them in the legs using one of the stun settings, and then call for back-up to help him drag the three of them back to the station in the HQ building.
Zeph had already set his Mk. six to stun as the Xo told him to, but as there was more than one setting listed in the manual that came with it as stun, Zeph had set it to the second one thinking that was the best option until he received the block of instruction on the recommended power settings for different situations. He thought that the Xo did say it was up to the individual officer in the end when determining what power level was appropriate. Drawing his Mk. six as he ran Zeph yell for them all to stop.
"Nephilim Enforcement! Stop running and place your hands in the air."
The three if them did not even slow down, causing Zeph to yell again.
"Nephilim Enforcement Black Badge! Stop! If you make me run I will shoot you!"
The three of them looked at each other for half a second before trying to run in three different directions, and trying is the operative word. As they only had time to take a few steps before they found themselves kissing the asphalt thanks to Zeph exquisite marksmanship, and the higher than standard stun setting he had his Mk. six set to. When the college aged suspect hit the street, the impact caused the lid to come off the small clear bottle that he was still clutching onto for dear life when Zeph walked over twirling a set of handcuffs on the index finger of his right hand. Three white pills were on the ground next to his head that was covered by a black hoodie. now that he had a chance to get a closer look it could tell that all three of them had on matching black hoodies that had LDU Razor Fins written in dark blue lettering across the back. A quick net search told Zeph that it was the name of the local collage sail surfing team, making him believe that all three of the suspects spazzing out on the asphalt were not much younger than him, and most likely went to LDU.

"Cadet Demonbane to dispatch, over."
"This is dispatch, go ahead Cadet."
"I would like to request back- up on the corner of First, and Main. Need assistance in the apprehension of three suspects. Possible Mod possession."
"Understood Cadet. Routing patrol unit six one three to you location. ETA five minutes. So the suspects appear to be armed, and dangerous Cadet? If so try to remain calm, and you your best to remain safe cadet. Even if you lose sight of them, prioritize your safety."
"Dispatch the suspects appear to be pretending to be fish out of water in the middle of the street."
"Say again Cadet, I think I got some interference caused by another officer's radio being to close."
"Dispatch, the suspects no not appear to be armed, or dangerous. Can you recommend setting level for SLP?"
"Stun is the standard setting Cadet Demonbane as covered in the Standards for Patrol and Interrogation of Suspects, if the situation changes do not hesitate to change the setting to something more lethal, but unless they appear to be first generation Nephilim that have FA blood, you should not need to use the laser setting."
"Copy, dispatch but which one of the stun settings is the standard?"
"What are you talking about Cadet, a standard issue Mk. five SLP only has four settings, Safety, Stun, Full Sonic, and Laser."
"Dispatch I have a Mk. six Silver Titanium edition. It was issued to me when I swore in."
"Must be a Black Badge thing Cadet. I have never seen a Mark Six SLP, so you are on your own, if the manual said the setting you have it on is stun, then it is stun. Just stay safe until Officer Jack Dean get there."
"Copy dispatch, Suspects are still breathing, but I don't think they are going to try to run away from me when I yell Nephilim Enforcement Black Badge again."
"Repeat last cadet, it sounded like you said again."
"Copy dispatch. Last was again."
"Dispatch this is patrol unit six one three, please advise holding to be ready to receive three suspects in heavy stun lock. Looks like it might be a while before they can try to talk there way out of it. Also advise Captain Halt that it looks like squad one will joining us for dinner."
"Say again Unit Six One Three."
"One moment Captain."
Officer Jack Dean climbed out of his patrol vehicle, and walked over to the three suspects on the ground, noticing that Zeph had the one that had a few pills scattered by his head in cuffs already.
"Not bad little rookie, but if you already had the suspects in custody, why did you call for back-up? And have you ran face rec on them yet?"
"Sir, I am a recruit, they only issued me one set of handcuffs, and I am on foot patrol. I was waiting until I got cuffs, on them to run facial recognition, on those two, but this guy that had the pill bottle in his hands when he started to run out of that ally way behind us is Junter Fiden, a student at LDU."
Pulling off the hoodies covering the faces of the other two, Officer Jack Dean jumped back three steps and tossed two sets of cuffs at Zeph.
"Cuff em Mr. Black Badge sir, they are your suspects. I gotta radio this in. Don't waste your time using VGPIINN to run their I.D. every officer in Los Diablos knows who these to Mod pushers are. We have been after them for a while now, and they always manage to slip away. I hope you enjoyed tonight so far Cadet because a certain Captain is going to remember your name all to well, after tonight, and how many credits she is going to be coughing up."
"Unit Six One Three to Captain Halt, over."
"Go ahead Unit Six One Three."
"What are the names of those two Mod dealer that you have been after for the last three years that always slip away?"
"Six fingered Joe, and Zorodo the nose. What are you getting at Officer Dean?"
"Cadet Demonbane just slapped cuffs on both of them, after catching them in the act of selling White Pill Mod in the shadow of that pretty office you are sitting in."
"Say again Unit Six One Three."
"Cadet Zeph Demonbane Level One Administrator grade Black Badge has Six fingered Joe, Zorodo the nose, and a suspected buyer in custody. I am only providing transport. He is the sole arresting officer."

"Copy Unit Six One Three, give Cadet Demonbane a ride back to HQ. He should be here when those two dirt bags get brought in for processing, and let him know that I will have Central NE Command process his reward. I get to be the one to tell the Xo, and Senior Instructor that he nailed them. Just wish I had time to go down there and tell him in person."
"Well rookie looks like your riding shotgun. Any other big bust you want to make before the sun comes up again, because I could always use a promotion. But I will settle for ya asking the Captain to include me in the offer of Tom's"
"Sure sir, I think you should get a fitting reward. Without you, I would not have been able to put all three of them in cuffs. I will be sure to include your name in the report as the transporting officer, so you can get plenty of reward points towards your promotion. But I have to ask what is Tom's?"
"Oh I guess you are not from around Los D then. Tom's is basically just your typical hole in the wall bar, but the old man that owns the place used to be a member of the LDPD back in the day, so it became a hang out for them boys in black, and us NEO's. But the big thing is the food his ol cook Sal slings. You will not find a better T-bone steak this side of the Tibon River. All you need to know is that the Captain is going to be beading credits taking your squad out to lunch today, and I bet she is crying both tears, of joy and pain sending off the document to Central Command to claim the reward on those two guys. Guess you could say the best perk of being a NEO, over a LEO is that we can still get paid for bringing in someone with a bounty."
"So what is the bounty on them?"
"Half a million credits each. Apparently one of them slipped a Black Mod pill into the drink of some pure blood girl at a LDU party a few years ago. Her father offered up the massive sum to have them taken down, and also placed a five million credit hit out on his own daughter because her blood was now tainted. Black Mod is way stronger than the White Mod pills, even one pill can cause a human to grow a tail. White is mostly just something that will speed up your head for a while, and cause you to grow an extra finger or two if you take to much of it. College kids are the target for the ones that push it. they tell them it will help em ace their next test, but don't tell them that they might had problems if they stop taking it."
