章 18: Ranking up
Aura told me That I have to be very careful while forming a mana core since it's something completely new and very complex to create, mana is present in almost everything whether it's a living being or non-living. She further explained to me that not only they cannot go against my will but it would also help them to boost their physical and magical powers.
The mana core work just like the normal mana transfer I had used before on Galena and Catherine but its effect would wear off in 1 to 2 days, on the other hand, if once mana core is created it would start to gather mana from its surrounding on its own.
I told the old Orc that I'm about to make a mana core inside them, he seemed worried about the Orcs since they all might die in this process.
"Master, we have already pledged our loyalty to you and we don't afraid to put our life on the line for you, we will give our life to you without hesitation, but I humbly request that the little ones should not be included in this process." The old Orc said it seemed he is worried about this tribe's existence.
As per his request, I agreed and did not include the Orcs children in the process, leaving only children aside I started to form a mana core inside everybody.
Since mana particles don't have bonding with each other I started to compress it very highly so it would form a physical shape, since I was also transferring mana while creating it, the process became harder than I imagined that why Aura decided to help me and with her help things became less exhausting and easy.
I successfully create 6 mana core looks like that is the best I could for now though I thought that I could form at least 50 mana core, however, it's a lot harder for me to create only 6 of them right now but maybe in the near future, I could able to create as many as I want.
the Orcs started to look at each other with surprise because for now all of them are now gushing with energy. They maybe feel stronger for now but after few days they become normal.
Although they have seen with their own eyes how I killed the Orcs, however, they are still very confused that how can a little human child like me able to give them so much power just like that.
I started to grin because I gain so many underlings in one night, they were at least sixty to seventy Orcs in numbers and if I include the children too then their numbers easily exceed one hundred, I and the old Orc started discussing if someone died or not in the process, he happily said that no one died, suddenly some Orcs started to glow.
Are they going blast like a bomb, did I gave them too much mana, and now they can't handle it. l don't have the slightest idea of what's going on with them?
While I was getting worried all Orcs including the old Orc were surprised but they also looked very happy seeing them glow. Their eyes got widened and smiles appeared on their faces. It seemed they know what was happening to them.
I asked Aura since I didn't know anything about their condition?
[Master, you have transferred a huge amount of mana inside their body, because of that they reach a certain level, and now they can rank up to a higher species.]
So they are ranking up that's why all of them looked happy but why are they so surprised?
"It's very hard for an Orc to evolve into higher species and to be able to evolve this many Orcs at the same time is a rare sight to behold, it's my first time seeing something like this, blessing…its a blessing for our tribe to have this many Orcs evolve." The old Orc started to say this without even asking, he did not avert his eyes from the Orcs as he said this.
Looks like it's really rare to rank up this many Orcs at the same time, the Orcs who were ranking up were two males and four females, they were the one who successfully forms the mana core inside their body, is that the reason behind their ranking up.
[Master I don't think mana core has anything to do with their ranking up, but it may have helped them just a little.] Aura said but she also did not know the exact reason.
Suddenly the light started to glow brightly and it became hard to keep looking at them so I closed my eyes. I couldn't see a single thing when Aura suddenly announced.
[Master, the ranking up process is completed and the selected Orcs successfully evolved into high Orcs.] Aura said this though I wanted to see their ranking up process with my eyes, it's a shame that I couldn't.
When the light subdued I saw 6 high Orcs similar to the one killed before. The male Orcs still look as ugly as before but now their body became twice as big, they are approximately 2 meters tall bulky body, they looked very strong.
The female Orcs changes were very shocking compared to male Orcs. Before their height was only 1.8 meters but now they also became 2 meters tall and they became very muscular but not bulky like male Orcs but compared to male Orcs, their face changed quite a lot, it's now somewhat close to humans but all of them now look more strong and monstrous than before.
they ranked up to the high orc and everyone also may rank up in the future and their tribe will become even more powerful.
But how long it will take them to rank up to the noble orc because that guy's presence was very dominant and aggressive and I was very intrigued by his persona.
I asked Aura about their chain of evolution.
[The evolution of Orcs is like that, normal Orcs evolve to high Orcs and high Orcs to Orc Knight and then from Orc knight to noble Orc and then finally Orc king.] She explained to me their evolution chain.
It's going to take a lot of time before they to the level of that noble Orc, but that is not a problem because I have a lot of time on my hands, I will train them personally so they can protect my village from the shadows. Although I'm still confused, why did they rank up after forming a mana core inside them?
