章 2: [002] I'll use my powers then

"Based on the information given, it is possible for intelligent life to evolve on Aria, but it is difficult to estimate how long it would take. The presence of microbial life is a promising sign, but the development of intelligent life depends on many factors such as environmental conditions, evolution, and chance events."

On Earth, it took around 4 billion years for intelligent life to evolve, but that is just one example. It is possible that intelligent life could evolve more quickly or slowly on other planets, depending on various factors such as the planet's size, distance from its star, and chemical composition." Morpheus said.

"it seems that Aria would need to undergo several significant changes before it could support intelligent life. One of the primary requirements for intelligent life is a stable, habitable environment. Aria has a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere and is similar in size and composition to Earth, which are good signs. However, the temperature range of -40 to 50 degrees Celsius suggests that it is not currently habitable for life as we know it."

Additionally, Aria lacks a magnetic field to protect the planet from solar winds and radiation, which is a critical factor for life to develop and evolve. It is possible that microbial life could survive in these conditions, but intelligent life would likely need a more stable and protective environment.

In order for Aria to become habitable and eventually support intelligent life, it would need to undergo significant changes such as the development of a stronger magnetic field, a more stable climate, and the emergence of more complex life forms that could evolve into intelligent beings over time. However, the timeline for such changes is difficult to predict and would depend on a variety of factors, including geological and astronomical events." Morpheus thought, although usually this would be the case.

"I am a God now aren't I?"

Morpheus surveyed Aria and noted its potential for evolution towards intelligent life. As a god with the power of creation, he was eager to aid in this process. However, he realized that he had limitations and couldn't outright create life and creatures.

Using his high intellect and powers, Morpheus focused on tampering with the planet's weaknesses that would result in evolution towards intelligent life. He first worked on the planet's climate by manipulating its atmosphere and introducing new weather patterns that could lead to more complex life forms.

Next, he manipulated the planet's geological features, causing tectonic plates to shift and creating new landmasses that could provide habitats for life. He also introduced new elements and nutrients to the planet's soil that could foster the growth of more advanced plant life.

With each change, Morpheus monitored the planet's progress closely, making adjustments as needed to ensure that the evolution towards intelligent life was moving in the right direction.

Morpheus stood in awe as he gazed at the now-evolving planet Aria. He had spent countless hours tinkering with its environment, nudging it towards a state that could support life. But he never expected such a rapid and drastic transformation.

As he stood there, he was interrupted by a robotic voice emanating from the holographic system screen. "Greetings, New Creator Morpheus. I am the Multiversal Assessment and Allocation System, or MAAS for short. I monitor all known and unknown planets across the multiverse, assessing their current state and determining ownership."

Morpheus was taken aback. He had never heard of such a system before. "What do you mean by ownership?" he asked, intrigued.

"Each planet in the multiverse can be owned by a deity or a higher being. Unowned planets are up for grabs, so to speak. And as the creator of Aria, you now have the opportunity to claim it as your own."

Morpheus pondered this for a moment. He had never considered owning a planet before. But the idea intrigued him. "What does ownership entail?" he asked.

"Ownership means that you have exclusive control over the planet and all its resources. You can do with it as you wish, and you will be recognized as the rightful owner by all other beings in the multiverse. It's a rare and coveted privilege."

Morpheus considered this for a moment. He had never been one for material possessions, but the idea of owning a planet held a certain appeal. "I accept," he said finally.

"Very well," the robotic voice responded. "Ownership of Aria has been transferred to Creator Morpheus. Congratulations on your acquisition. Is there anything else I can assist you with?"

Morpheus shook his head, still in a bit of disbelief. "No, that will be all for now. Thank you, MAAS."

As the hologram disappeared, Morpheus couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was now the owner of a planet, and with that ownership came endless possibilities. He couldn't wait to see what the future held for Aria, now that it was his to control.

As Morpheus contemplated his newfound power, he couldn't help but wonder about the Multiversal Assessment and Allocation System or MAAS. What purpose did it really serve other than monitoring and assigning ownership of planets?

With his high intellect and curiosity, he began to speculate that there could be millions, if not billions, of gods out there. And with the MAAS in place, it seemed like there was a whole system of governance and regulation among the gods.

But what fascinated him even more was the idea that the MAAS could potentially be used for more than just monitoring and assigning ownership of planets. Perhaps it could be used to create alliances between gods or even measure their strengths and abilities.

He realized that the MAAS could be a tool for understanding the hierarchy of the gods and their creations, and he couldn't help but wonder where he stood in that hierarchy. As a new god, he was likely among the weakest, but he refused to let that limit him.
