Diana's P. O. V
I almost didn't want to work my shift that day, staying with Luca was my top priority. Brent said a few things then left, I could tell he felt like he wasn't needed.
But Luca persisted, he was adamant that I go to work and take my mind off of things. He swore to me that he was fine, on my way out, I heard him on the phone with soph, and he was still trying to be that jokester, just to get her to smile.
Luca was so frickin cool.
*Work*
There were much people than the usual line up, some of our regulars were back, while some new customers were around too.
West and I could hardly keep up, plus my full concentration wasn't on the food I was serving or the orders I was taking. My mind was occupied with thoughts of Luca and his mom in the hospital.
What was going to happen from here on out?.
"You're spacing out again, what's going on?." West asked holding my hand, preventing me from going to clean the available table.
