章 266: Leaving USA

The first thing Silas did after waking up was check the time.

*10:39 AM*

"Looks like we still have more than enough time before heading to Venezuela," he murmured to himself.

He got up, stretched, and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. The cool water on his face helped clear his mind, and soon after, he made his way downstairs, where the smell of breakfast lingered in the air.

Kim was already at the table, finishing her coffee, while Chris flipped through a newspaper, although Silas knew his dad wasn't really reading it.

After a quiet breakfast, the three of them went out to the garage. They climbed into one of the cars, with Chris taking the driver's seat, Silas beside him, and Kim in the back.

The drive was silent but filled with unspoken thoughts, each of them mentally preparing for the day's events and the journey ahead.
