Damon was one strange creature, Nessa decided. She had not even finished giving Carlos a taste of her wrath when he took the cushion from her, claiming he didn't want her to hurt her hands. Awkward, right? But that was just the beginning.

The next, just as Nessa was about to leave, Damon claimed he would drive her home. She insisted she would find a taxi. But then, the high and mighty Damon reminded her it was her "short-sightedness" at choosing the right Taxi that led them to get kidnapped in the first place. So yeah, he effortlessly won the argument and right now they were on their way home in total silence - an awkward one.

"A-hem," Nessa intentionally made a noise to get his attention but Damon didn't spare her a look, his focus rested entirely on the road.

So Nessa stretched her hand and turned on the radio, she was not a fan of silence. Switching to a music station that played one of her favorite jams, she relaxed.
