章 81: Extended Horror

Alistair hurried through the thick forest, his heart thumping loud as the alert flashed across his Predator mask.

[ The Mana Knight Eldric has been taken down!

[ 21 out of 23 left. ]

Alistair's heart sank, "What? So fast?"

The first one to fall were Gideon and Cedric and now, another one of them? Eldric?

At first, he thought it was just an accident, but now he could feel that something was out there targeting them, though he was not sure what.

Suddenly, Alistair saw two familiar names in the Livestream chat on his mask,

[ Alistair! ]

[ Hang in there! ]

It was Gideon who chatted, his Mana Knight companion, and Cedric, one of his subordinates who had fallen earlier in the shrinking beam.

"What's the situation here? Why is everyone panicking?"Alistair gasped, bracing himself for their response.
