章 53: Ellenair's resolve

After Wallace had given instructions to the guards, Captain Dylan, and his loyal butler Mendez to retrieve the magic crystals from the bodies of the slain assassin bugs, he found himself back, comfortably lying on top of the huge dead leader of the bugs.

As he enjoyed the eerie quietness of the scene, his eyes wandered to the other guards who appeared to be taking their time dissecting the third and fourth stage assassin bugs.

Impatience started to grow within him, urging him to find a way to speed up the process.

"Hmmm, they are taking their time…"

Just as Wallace wondered how to make them work faster, his eyes glanced downward and he spotted Ellenair, sitting silently below him.

Surprised, she looked up at him, her face showing a mix of surprise and fear.

"Hey, your name is Ellenair, right?"

Wallace asked, breaking the silence that surrounded them.
