章 161: Elders fell

The Mana Knights of Wallace gathered around a small campfire, their laughter and camaraderie filling the air. The forest that had sprung up from the Seed of Deforestation loomed around them, its towering trees and thick undergrowth creating an almost surreal backdrop. The knights, clad in their now-battered armor, shared stories of their recent encounters with the younger generation of the horned tribe.

"Did you see the look on that kid's face when he thought he had me?" chuckled Roderic, a tall knight with a scar running down his cheek. "He didn't expect the armor to hold up against his blade."

Gareth, another knight with a broad smile, nodded. "Yeah, they were sneaky, but our armor did its job. I thought for sure I was a goner when three of them jumped me from behind."
