章 99: Failed experiment

Ken and Eleis walked into the temple, which was just a series of immaculately lined and shaped pillars holding up the roof. There was nothing inside. Ken furrowed his brow, feeling his mana was slightly restricted. The restriction was so small that Eleis only noticed it after Ken did.

She tapped the air, her fingers covered in magic.

"Hmm, there is a layer of space magic here; it's a formation of some kind. I am guessing the spell circle is under the temple and is incomplete, but this place was definitely used a day or two ago,"

Eleis analyzed, her eyes intense. She walked around the place, checking every corner, but found nothing. Ken narrowed his eyes as he checked the pillars, his eyes scanning the bases, but all of them were the same. He looked up and scanned the connecting points, and one of them seemed odd.

"That pillar,"

Ken pointed out the unusual one.
