I could hear the beeping of devices and for some reason, I found it hard to open my eyes as they felt heavy..it suddenly occurred to me that I came back to life after my encounter with that puffy cat, but when I first opened my eyes I couldn't breathe and had cotton wool in my nose, I quickly removed them and thank goodness the coffin wasn't locked, the thunder sounds became louder and the sky began to get dark.
I sat up to find a lot of people surrounding me but I couldn't find GP, Kiara, Leon's parents, Mia or Leon
" Leon !!! " I called out but it came out more like a whisper..which caught the attention of everyone as they started screaming and running away while the rain began pondering
okay that experience was one thing I never want to experience it was just terrifying
" her vitals for the past five days are good..it's a miracle she came back to life after being dead for three days" I heard a man's voice
" it surely is a miracle but my wife is a fighter and would always be " I heard Leon's voice and for some reason, I felt safe
" I'll take your leave Mr. Copeland" the man with Leon spoke up and he seem to be the doctor.
I badly wanted to open my eyes but they were damn heavy same goes for my hands. I could suddenly feel pain all over my body and it hurt like fuck..
I gently opened my eyes and the lights from my surroundings were just too much I shut my eyes back it was as if I was about to turn blind and there was suddenly a slight ace in my head.
I finally managed to open my eyes and the scene before I wasn't at all a pleasant one
Leon had dark circles which I could tell is a result of not having people sleep and I could tell he hadn't shaved as he was beginning to have a beard, his clothes weren't bad or good
I couldn't believe he was the same man I got married to...apart from being a mafia he doesn't even look like a gentleman
" Bella," he said with a smile seems he noticed had been starring
" are you okay ? do you feel any pain? do you want me to call the doctor? " he threw questions at me which was cute but also irritating. I hissed feeling the slight pain in my head again
" doc... "
" am fine " I cut him off
" you sure? "
" yes," I said and I could see him sigh in relief
" And what was that for? who asked you to be a hero and go against that fool, do you know what the consequences of your actions are... "
" shh am okay and please remember I hate noise, secondly I know the consequences of my actions and I wasn't trying to be a hero..you see even the devil is scared of me " I winked and he chuckled
" never try that again please," he said giving me a hug and this action of his made me smile. I wanted to remain like this when I suddenly felt something drop on my shoulder
I broke the hug to take a look to find Leon in tears
" A..are you crying? " I asked knowing the obvious
" nope something got into my eyes "
oh, here he comes again lying straight to my face
" hmm ho.. "
" BELLA!!! " I turned to find Kiara and Mia..and before I could say a word they were both squeezing the hell out of me
" guys, are you trying to kill me? " I said and they both let go
" sorry " they apologized in unison making me laugh
" it's okay just be careful okay," I said and they both nodded
...
so it's almost a day since I regained consciousness and everyone had come to visit, fan's and my workers even sent me flowers including Tester Carson but I just ignored all the bullshits he said and asked him to leave when he was done
I was already feeling better than when I woke up I asked Leon to get me discharged but the asshole refused to say I must at least stay under observation for three days.
like come on, I can spend a day without working my ass out and now they want me to spend three days in this room not doing a thing
" wifey I brought your dinner," Leon said with a smile that almost made me forget that I was upset with him ..but thank goodness it didn't.
" drop it and leave, " I said not making eye contact with him
" why? "
" you see someone said I have to stay under the observation of the doctors so I don't want to see anyone except the doctors, " I said and he chuckled
I couldn't help but admit he looked cute when he chuckled and thank goodness he took care of himself when I asked him to go home
" not even me? "
" not even you "
" you sure," he said coming closer and I could feel butterflies in my stomach
what a strange feeling
" Yeah "
" but I want to see you "
"get me out of this jail please," I said trying to make a cute face but the reaction I got was just shocking.
Leon suddenly slammed his lips on mine as if he's been wanting to do it for a while and the feeling of wanting and passion could be felt..he broke the kiss leaving us both panting for breath
" how about we take a break from our mafia lived and go for a honeymoon as a normal couple," he asked which a smile as he brought out the food
" Alright," I said and he shove a spoon full of food into my mouth
" then you have to recover quickly cause I have a lot of plans for us," he said and I swear I saw an evil grin on his face which was quickly replaced with a smile
all I could do is pray this asshole doesn't send me to the hospital after this so-called honeymoon of our
