章 1: -New Journey
A week later, Jazmin finds herself full of emotions, unable to process all the excitement. She becomes nervous from overthinking it. It's time to leave her home for the last 18 years behind for a new one. She's not alone, she has Aston. He's the best thing a girl could ask for, always so supportive. They will tough out all that comes, together officially through thick and thin. A knock at the door pulls her out of her wormhole of thoughts.
"Hey, are you almost ready, princess? The guys are waiting to start loading up everything." Aston asks in a cooing tone, knowing saying goodbye isn't forever, but the thought of saying goodbye is the hardest.
Fighting back her emotions, she squeaks out words with confident, "Oh, sorry. I am just about wrapped here. Are we running late?" Jazmin says.
With a sorrowful look, Aston swiftly walks up to Jazmin's side. "No, we have all the time you need, princess."
He always says the most sincere words to calm her raging fears. "I was worried that we were running behind schedule. This is just as important to me as it is to you and the pack," she says.
Aston chuckles at her cute inner meltdown, "Not at all, sweetness." he says, kissing her on the cheek.
Jazmin worries that he says things in the interest of her feelings. She begins to second guess herself and that he is trying to only appease her emotions with sweet-talking. They have bonded so well, why is she going back to overthinking the bond between them?
"Aston, can I ask you something?" she says, looking at him sincerely.
Aston smiles, "Of course. Ask whatever you wish, I will do my best to answer." he says honestly.
With that, she looks at Aston with puppy dog eyes. "You don't ever say things in ways to spare me of certain feelings, do you?"
Jazmin's words surprise Aston, "Oh princess, I would never do that. What made you question my intentions?" he asks.
Her worries are eased swiftly. "I appreciate you, more than you realize. I just get too caught up in my feelings. Then that turns into overthinking." Jazmin says.
"Oh, I see. So you work yourself up with worries. I get that. I will never keep things from you, princess." Aston says.
"Thank you, I am glad that we cleared this up. You are the best I could ever ask for. Hands down, the best Alpha!" Jazmin says.
Again, she is blown away by Aston's sincere words. The depth of his emotion flows in the bond, leaving nothing to be guessed. His true intentions, his feelings, are valid.
Jazmin sighed as she watched the last of her belongings be loaded into a truck. This is it. Her wolf comes forward to comfort her in this emotional time. She always gives the best advice for being a wolf. Jazmin has finished saying all her goodbyes to her family, and pack members, with whom she shares excellent memories.
Aston walks up to her, "Are you ready? The pack is waiting on our arrival."
With gloom, Jazmin responds, "I don't think I ever really will be. Here's to new memories." She climbs into the passenger side of the car.
In the rearview, her family stands, watching them leave. Soon her view is blocked by the SUV that follows last in line. Jazmin is quiet the whole time on the way to his pack lands. Aston made several attempts to get Jazmin to talk, but he sadly failed. She is stuck deep in her emotional thoughts. What felt like forever of driving, was a few hours.
Before she realizes that they have arrived at his pack, Aston finally gets her out of her head. She looks at him confused as if she has been stuck in a trace the entire drive. Jazmin glances around to see unfamiliar territory in front of her. Wow, she must have closed herself off. Aston has parked the car in front of what looks to be the pack house.
"Welcome home Jazmin!" Aston says.
"I didn't mean to be in such a daze the whole way, are you mad at me?" She asks.
"No, why would I? I understand that this will take time to get used to." He says.
"It was rude of me to do that to you." She calmly says.
"Wait right there, don't move!" Aston demands politely.
She is confused as to why he would tell her such a thing. She soon finds out as Aston makes his way to her side of the car and opens the door. Aston grabs her hand, helping her out of the car. For such a monster, he can be a gentleman.
She takes a glance at the surroundings in front of her. She notices several people that she's never seen before standing nearby with excitement to greet them. One of the girls seem too little to happy about her mate's arrival. Jazmin questions who these people are to Aston. She starts to worry about other females.
Jazmin soon notices Aston pulling her towards them. She isn't ready for this, could be a disaster. She becomes nervous about this, Aston is quick to feel her hesitation.
'Don't be scared, they don't bite.' He says in mind link.
'Are you sure? Who are they?' Jazmin asks in worry.
"I want to introduce you to my mate, Jazmin!" Aston announces to them.
Among the group, a few girls grumble with disgust at the abrupt news. Jazmin had a feeling about this. Here we go, Jazmin thinks to herself, now she will have to fight these whores off. Few females start sending death glares at Jazmin. This is going to bring challenges her way. It looks like she will just have to find out the intentions of these females, and put them in their place when the time arises. With a smirk on her face, 'this will be fun', she says to her wolf Amara. Her wolf Amara howls in delight, she's ready for this.
