The few people opposite actually knew Jannie. It was supposed to be a normal cocktail party, but somehow they talked about the designer, Linda.

One of the men said that Linda was no master. It had been so long since she had worked that she could certainly design nothing.

As Linda's die-hard fan, Jannie immediately retorted, saying that the master had something to do, so she chose to rest for a while.

Then another woman chimed in, saying that resting was just an excuse. Yudel's Black & Whela had terminated their contract with Ms. Linda, so he must have known that Ms. Linda was out of ideas.

The others also echoed and said more unpleasant words.

Jannie's temper flared at once.

Ms. Linda was the one who terminated her contract with Yudel. How come they spin that?

In order to beg Ms. Linda to renew the contract, Yudel had said so much good things to Bob!
