Sevee Renaldi has always felt trapped. Born with his twin sister Seraphina to Mia Renaldi and Sean Morrison, he doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere due to being half Fox and half Nephilim, despite having a loving and supportive family around him. His blunt nature and disdain for authority only add to these feelings of isolation, making him long to escape what he considers a mundane life.

Sevee's rebel attitude eventually leads him to meet the mysterious Lenore late one night. Instantly drawn to her, Sevee feels like he's found a kindred spirit, and slowly begins to fall in love with her.

But Lenore has many secrets of her own, secrets that could put Sevee's life in danger as he becomes closer and closer to her. Along with this, the nightmares that have plagued him are growing more intense, leading to the appearance of the one who still torments him because of the past.
