"Then I'll take my rewards myself every minute". He said with a smirk.
Chaeyoung gulped and looked away from his hot gaze on her.
"What else should I help you with?". She asked trying to divert the topic.
Yoonjin smiled knowing what she was trying to do and decides to play along.
"Wash the mushroom and stand close to me when you're done".
He added the shrimps and clams to the chili sauce and stirred them, before adding fish sauce and soy sauce.
Chaeyoung watched as he prepared the meal focused. His eyes were fixed on the dish without diversion, his hands moving quickly as he pours the ingredients in the pot, looking like a professional chef.
Chaeyoung face was flushed from watching him for too long, she quickly diverted her gaze and wash the mushrooms
"I'm done". She said dropping the mushroom with in hand reach.
Yoonjin nodded and turned to peck her but she was not close to him.
"I told you to stand close to me".
Chaeyoung rolled her eyes and sat on the counter.
"So you can steal kisses from me, if you want a kiss you can just ask….". She quickly covered her mouth, realizing what she had just said.
She had spoken so fast that she said something she shouldn't.
Yoonjin chuckled and nodded his head.
"I'll make sure to do that. Can you boil the rice?". Chaeyoung pursed her lips and nodded before coming doing from the counter.
She washed the rice into the rice cooker and walked to him waiting for more instructions on what to do.
The fresh aroma from the food caused her to moan and licked her lips.
"It smells nice". She grinned looking at him, her eyes brightened in excitement.
She looked at the variety of ingredients in the pot and it looked beautiful and alluring.
She stretches her hand for a taste.
"Please.." She looked at him, her eyes widened.
Yoonjin smiled at her cute behavior which was rare, he nodded and let her have a taste.
"Hmm, it's really good". She raised a thumbs up with a wide grin on her lips.
"Then I should get a reward, don't you think?".
Chaeyoung's smile drop at his statement and stepped away from him.
She knew Yoonjin would not be able to come to her as he was busy, so she had the chance to run a way from him.
"Have you always been this much of a tease?".
Yoonjin chuckled, she had been acting rather cute since he started preparing dinner, thinking she was perhaps excited about it.
After preparing the soft tofu stew and some side dishes, he checked the rice cooker to see if the rice was already cooked, it wasn't and needed just few minutes to.
He took off the apron and hanged it, before washing his hands clean.
A glint passed his eyes, he turned around seeing her on a call, sitting on the counter.
The call seemed like it was related to work since her face was void of any emotions, she had her tablet placed on her thighs and wrote something on it with the pen.
She looked breathtaking as she furrowed her brows every now and then, he hair packed in a loosed bun with few strands down her perfectly framed face, her pale pink lips was pursed as she listened to what the person from the other line says.
Yoonjin smiled, it was the first time seeing her working and he had to admit, she looked different and stunning.
He slowly walked up to her holding her leg, which was crossed, he forced it open and stood just in between, trapping him.
She looked at him with her eyes widened in shock, when did he come close to her she thought.
"What are you doing". She mouthed, earning a shrug from him.
His hand slowly went to her thighs, giving it a light squeeze.
Chaeyoung's grip on the phone tightened, she glared at him and shook her head, disapproving of whatever he had in mind, not because she was angry but she could feel her body getting hot just by his hand on her thighs, even when he was not touching her bare skin, since she wore a long pants.
His hand slowly went up, sliding underneath her shirt, grabbing her waist.
Chaeyoung gasped as she stared at him.
"Please.." She pleaded, she was on a call with some of her employees and if Yoonjin keeps doing what he was already doing she might make some strange sound.
He held her waist and pulled her closer to him, a small smirk on her lips.
"What are you doi….". Chaeyoung placed her hand on his lips, covering it to stop him from talking.
"Yes!". She quickly interrupted. "We'll continue the meeting tomorrow, so good night". She ended the call and dropped the phone beside her, giving Yoonjin a questioning look.
"What are you doing, I was having a meeting". She sulked as a light blush crept on her face.
Yoonjin shrugged and let go of her waist, stepping away from her.
"The rice should already be cooked". He left leaving Chaeyoung dumbfounded.
After making her end the call with her employees, he really left her acting like he did nothing strange.
Chaeyoung scoffed and climbed down from the counter walking to him.
"Yoonjin why did you do that, I'm a thousand percent sure they heard your voice".
"What's so wrong about that?, we'll be getting married soon though". He took out the rice from the rice cooker, serving it in a plate.
Chaeyoung rubbed the space between her brows followed by a sigh.
She looked at the single plate that was being served.
"You're not eating?".
Yoonjin shook his head.
"It's getting late, I should get going". He served the soft tofu and the side dishes on different plates.
Chaeyoung was about speaking when her phone rang.
'MOM'.
She could not understand the reason why she was calling again.
She picked up the phone and placed it on her ear.
"Chae, have you turned on the heater?". She asked as soon as the call connected.
She was confused what she meant and replied no.
"You're going to get cold hun, go turn it on now and don't forget to lock the windows". Her mother kept nagging without a stop.
"Mom, calm down, why are you telling me all these?".
"It's raining over there, i just got a call". Chaeyoung rushed to the window, opening it.
A gust of cool, rain fresh air brushed through her hands.
The sound of raindrops echoed through the night, the dark sky brightened by occasional lightening streaks.
She quickly closed the window to prevent catching a cold.
"I'll sure do that, thanks mom". The call ended and she turned to look at Yoonjin, he was also on a call, she walked up to him.
"Hmm, I will, you're nagging is getting too much". He paused and listened to the person talking for a while.
"That's because I'm at Chae's".
"Really?!..omg, Jihyo Chae and Yoonjin are together". His mother screamed from the other line.
Yoonjin took the phone off his ear because of how loud her voice was. He placed the phone on speaker and kept it on the counter.
"Hi Yoonjin, it's Chae's mom". He heard the voice of Mrs Seo followed by the voice of his mom nagging her.
"You're also his mom Jihyo, you can just say this is your second mom". Mrs Seo chuckled.
"Anyways Yoonjin, I don't think you'll be able to go home today, the road will be slippery and besides it's dangerous driving on rainy nights, so stay with my baby".
"Mom…!". Chaeyoung whined trying to stop her mom from embarrassing her further.
"I'm no longer a baby".
"You're still my baby, so Yoonjin lock the windows and turn on the heater, she gets cold easily". Mrs Seo said to Yoonjin.
"I'll do that warm, and keep her warm". He said.
The two women chuckled from the other line.
He looked at Chaeyoung's red face as she looked away from him, serving his food on a different plate.
"Alright son, we'll leave you two alone, goodnight kids, and we are expecting a grandchild". Mrs Park said.
Chaeyoung coughed and rushed to Yoonjin taking the phone from the counter.
"Good nights moms, we're about having dinner bye". She ended the call and sighed.
Can those two ladies stop with their nagging and mentioning of grands children.
"Guess I'm sleeping over". She heard Yoonjin said.
"Mmm, I guess so, let's go eat dinner". She said, the took the plates to the already arranged dining table and sat down to eat.
