章 27: Lukas's Apology
"I choose truth."
"Okay. The question is have you and Fiona ever slept together?"
"See. Why does the question concern Fiona again?" continued Kendrick.
"Yeah, I don't know Kendrick. You saw for yourself that it was Lukas himself who took the paper. So how do I know what's in it. So what's the answer, Lukas?"
"Never."
"Are you sure you never?"
"Yes, I have never. I have never, but I have to answer that I have."
"Okay. I was just asking. Take it easy."

"The woman I love right now is the one sitting right next to the cave."
Jane was very surprised by Kendrick's answer. Because from Kendrick's answer it means that Kendrick loves Fiona who is sitting on his right. Moreover, Fiona who received such an answer felt very surprised. Even Fiona had to leave Kendrick and the others. Lukas who saw Fiona's departure immediately followed her.
"Fiona, Fiona...," shouted Lukas who was just ignored by Fiona.
Seeing Lukas chasing Fiona, Kendrick didn't stay still. Kendrick goes after Fiona too. Likewise with Jane and her two best friends.
"Fiona wait," Lukas said while holding Fiona's hand.
"Take it off."
"But I want to talk to you Fiona."
It wasn't long before Kendrick came and defended Fiona.
"If she doesn't want to talk to you, don't force her."
"Eh, just shut up. You don't have to interfere."
"I have the right to interfere because Fiona herself doesn't want to talk to you but instead you insist on talking to her. After all, you have nothing to do with Fiona. So stop chasing Fiona again."
"Who said that I have nothing to do with Fiona anymore? Me and Fiona can't be separated. Because there's something that makes us inseparable."
"Oh, it's too bad if Lukas accidentally talks to Kendrick that I'm pregnant. I'd better take Lukas out of here," said Fiona in her heart.
Finally Fiona invites Lukas to leave from there. Kendrick found it strange because at first Fiona didn't want to talk to Lukas but now Fiona herself is the one who invites Lukas to talk alone.
"Let's talk together now," said Fiona.
"Yes, come on."
Fiona and Lukas leave Kendrick. Not long after that Jane and her two friends came over to Kendrick.
"Come on, Kendrick. You can see that Fiona is actually still in love with Lukas. The proof is that she now prefers Lukas over you. You've only been used as a place to stop with Fiona all this time."
Kendrick immediately thought of Jane's words just now.
"Is it true that Fiona just made a cave as a place to stop? But how come Fiona is as bad as me," thought Kendrick in his heart.
Then after that Kendrick left Jane and her two friends to where he was staying. Jane was actually annoyed that Kendrick had just left her like that. But at least she felt a little happier because she could influence Kendrick's mind.
"Oh, Kendrick, just play away like that. Instead of saying thank you, we need to realize that Fiona is not good for him," said Kaila.
"Just leave it be. At least he must have thought about what I said earlier. Now let's go find something to eat again. I'm already really hungry."
"Come on."
Jane and her two friends chose to find a place to eat and not take care of the relationship between Fiona and Lukas again. Because the three of them were already very hungry.

Right now Fiona and Lukas are on the beach together. But that doesn't mean Fiona wants to get back with Lukas. Because the pain in Fiona's heart after being left by Lukas yesterday is still very much felt.

I left because yesterday I was scared with my Mother and Father. Now I want to get up the courage to talk to them. So you want to forgive me."
Fiona was silent for a moment. She thought about what Lukas had just said that could convince and grow Fiona's love for Lukas back. But Fiona thought back to how Lukas had left her that time.
"No. I don't want to feel hurt a second time, a third time and so on. I'm already happy living with Mom and Dad. So you don't need to see me again."
Then after that Fioan immediately left Lukas just like that. Lukas has tried to call Fiona back but this time Fiona really left Lukas.
"Aaaa, it's all because of Kendrick. Surely Fiona can already forget about me because she's already starting to have a crush on Kendrick. I have to teach her a lesson," said Lukas.
Lukas returns to where he had been hoping to see Kendrick again. Because right now Lukas wants to teach Kendrick a lesson. But unfortunately Kendrick had already gone to his inn. So Lukas couldn't find him.
"Shit. He's not here anymore. Where has he gone. Just watch out for Kendrick if I get to see you again."
