At the eve of Roberts Birthday, he suffered many misfortunes such as losing his job, his life, and his family to a friend who betrayed him.

In Roberts agony, he committed one last act of revenge before completely dying to his wounds due to the fire, and exhaustion as the flames consumed his grand parents estate.

When he expected to be judged in the afterlife or heaven if you will, he was reincarnated in Europe.

Most specifically in Germany of 1920. Where history doesnt exactly match up to his own history.
