As evening fell, Edoardo finished up his work, gathering his things and preparing to leave the office. The soft buzz of his phone interrupted the calm as Leonora's name flashed across the screen. He paused, unsure. 'Why is she calling all of a sudden?'

He swiped to answer, his curiosity piqued.

"Come to the bar we used to drink at," Leonora's voice came through, slightly slurred. "Back then, it was just us three when we... were happy."

Edoardo frowned, a sense of unease stirring within him. He could tell from the tone in her voice that something was off. Without wasting a second, he grabbed his coat and rushed out the door, heading straight for the bar.

When he arrived, the dim lights of the familiar spot flickered in the window. Inside, Leonora was sitting at the bar, slouched over a glass, her eyes glazed with drunken frustration.
