Ethan Herd carried Scarlett Glenn and got into the car, only to come face to face with two police cars. Ethan sneered.

Ethan touched Scarlett's face again: "See? I'm more timely than public servants, right? You should think about how to thank me."

Scarlett was motionless from the sleeping medicine, well-behaved, and quiet. Ethan found it interesting; when had this woman ever been so honest before? He couldn't help but want to touch her.
