章 15: Chaos
Nero was here looking for Arcuied to make her a part of his Chaos but it looked to him right now that he may have found some bonus gifts.
"David,it's your turn."
"But professor...Arc.."
"It's either being eaten by my beasts or have to a chance live, the choice is yours."
David was now in a difficult position, if he doesn't Nero's order he will be devoured by beasts and if does he will be slaughtered by Arcuied but at least there is a chance for survival in the latter. David didn't waste much time and decided to choose the latter.
Outside the Building Gil locked weapons from Gate of Babylon at the building ready to destroy it but before he could do that something came out of the building completely destroying half of it. Half of the building was gone and flying on top of it was a wolf-like creature with large dragon-like wings with no fur.
Standing on the back of the creatures was a man in his mid-thirties by his look it was clear he was a Dead Apostle.
"Good boy, now bite them"
The creature dived straight toward them but Gil smiled as closed the gate as he knew it was someone else's time to have some fun.
Izayoi jumped at the beast at the speed of third cosmic velocity and delivered his fist right at the Wolf's face completely destroying the wolf in tiny pieces and as for the dead apostle, half of his body was completely destroyed making sure he doesn't regenerate Gil launched a ball of fire from the Gate of Babylon burning what's left of him.
Nero who was watching all this instead of getting scared got more excited and even though he knew there may be a chance he may die tonight but he still decided he was going for it.
Izayoi: "I am all freshened up."
Gil: "It was easier than I expected."
Arcuied even with all her experience was shocking the weapons that Gil used were not normal but ancient mystic codes, magical weapons with an origin dating back to the age of Gods and the strength displayed by Izayoi was strong as she in her hundred percent form. All she could think of is 'who are these kids?'
Gil: "Now, where is Chaos?"
Izayoi: "Definitely hiding somewhere here, let's trash this place and he will come out on his own."
Before they could do that ground beneath them shattered and a large claw came out of it, reacting to this they dodged the attack and jump backwards.
Arcuied: "Nero."
The crack became bigger as another big claw came out of it and held onto the edge and a man with grey hair and face full of cracks came out of it.
Nero: "Looks like my dream of becoming true Chaos is going to be completed tonight. I originally came here to hunt you but looks like I'll be also getting in bonus.DEVOUR."
As Nero said that black tar-like substance came out of his coat and spread on the ground.
'So which creature I should bring out, normal beast won't work....phantasmal beast, a mix of phantasmal beasts.'
A creature which seemed like a hybrid of an ant and lobster came out of the ground around the size of a mid-size car.
Gil watching this launched a few low-rank noble phantasms at the creature but it made no damage at all.
Gil: "E rank noble phantasms aren't working huh..then let's take it higher."
Gil attacked again but this time Do rank noble phantasm, at first it didn't have any effect but the continuous barrage of D rank noble phantasm was enough to crack its thick shell.
Izayoi: "So anyone wants to take it?"
Arcuied: "It's mine."
Arcuied lunged at the creature turning her hands into sharp claws and dug them inside the crack and ripped the creature in half in the process but it took her to use forty percent of her power to do it.
Arcuied jumped at the position she earlier was calming herself down using more than thirty percent of her power may cause her to lose control.
Izayoi looked at Arcuied with some concern.
"Are you okay?"
"I am fine, focus on the battle."
Izayoi turned back to see Gil confronting Nero head-on,Nero summoned a large number of beasts continuously from his Chaos but there were getting destroyed by the Noble Phantasms and returning back to him.
Gil was also getting annoyed by this as no one seemed to be on the losing side in their one on one battle.
Gil: "Izayoi, would you like to kill him or want me to do it? I am getting bored."
Arcuied first didn't believe what Izayoi and Gil told her about Chaos during their flight. She thought that the Beast used by Chaos were simply nothing but familiars but they told her that the beast controlled by Chaos are not familiars but a part of him basically Nero himself is a mix of 666 beasts. Having more than three hundred beasts compressed in a human body is an act of insanity and thirty beasts should be limit of doing something like this but what Nero could do was twenty times that, this is something that is considered simply Impossible.
Izayoi: "You can take him but the next one is mine."
Gil: "Good....then it's time."
