章 11: Chaos in the forest part - 2
*NEAR THE CORE AREA, DEVIL MIST FOREST*
A pristine white house was standing near the waterfall. It was in a dark corner but was giving off a holy and untainted aura. A woman with raven black hair stood there looking at the house.
"Hm, is this it? Although it was vague, I recognize the smell of her blood. Where Salivaar died, her blood, it was there but the scent stopped a while back. I guess it was pointing to this. Let's check it out."
She said as stepped forward towards the house. She knocked at the door. Not getting any response, she knocked again. Still, there was no response.
*BANG *BANG
She banged the door forcefully only to realize even with her power, the door won't break easily. She was enraged, after waiting all these years just when she was about to meet the one she wanted to meet the most, she was blocked by a god damn door. She tried hitting the door more furiously.
"Just break!!!"
"Just for your information but...umm. That door is made of Earth essence, It won't break that easily."
A cold shiver went up her spine, she moved as fast as she could, she backed away and turned around only to see a handsome young man looking at her, showing a smile.
It was almost night. Zane was scouting through the forest when he saw the snakes rampaging around the forest. He killed one trying to get the details but couldn't get any. Atleast he knew that there was someone at the back controlling the serpents. He wanted to remove the problems through the root. He thought that it would take some time when he decide to visit his house in the forest only to discover this.
"Who are you?" She asked cautiously, there was only a few dozens of meters of distance between them. She felt an unusual sense of crisis from the young man. But she noticed something strange.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking that question miss intruder? Would you like to take a seat and talk." Zane asked as he looked at the black haired beauty.
*SNIFF *SNIFF
Zane was amused by the Lady's peculiar action of sniffing around the air instead of replying. Just when he was about to go and incapacitate her, something strange happened.
She charged right at him without a word. Her eyes were blood shot. Zane moved from his spot only to see the lady swiping her long nails just past him And moved through the forest leaving a hundred meter huge mark on the ground. The forest rumbled.
"I will fuc*ing kill you son of a bi*ch. How dare you! How dare you! I swear I will erase you scourge." She shouted.
Her body was emitting crazy blue aura and killing intent.
'That aura, its a poisonous one. So she is a beast and But What the hell happened? She is acting as if I killed her family or something, Does this lady even realize that she was the one trespassing. Huh! People....ahem...beasts these days are not civil at all.'
Before Zane could respond with anything she appeared right before him as she kicked his chest. Zane flew back as he crashed into hundreds of tall trees breaking them.
It was painful, he coughed out blood as he looked at the approaching creature.
Zane thought himself as he calculated his next set of action.
Zane's current body has zero cultivation but as it is in a natural state of resonance, he could generate physical strength worth that of a normal knight king at the very best. But the lady in front of him was a top notch beast king almost on the verge of beast emperor level and her speed was unfathomable. Although the difference seemed small, it was a huge difference in actual combat power.
To tackle her Zane needed to give her everything he has got. He could consume a bit of his blood essence to produce one attack with enough strength to make her pass out. He couldn't break through her defense but the wave, if it hit her where he wanted, he should be able make her unconscious. The problem was how he could land a hit on her with that crazy speed. As people at their level could sense danger very quickly.
She came at him again, this time from the side, her arms were a moment's reach away when Zane bent down to punch towards her stomach. The lady flipped in the air and clawed at him from the back.
Zane turned around as he noticed her move aiming right at his neck. He knew he couldnt move away in time to dodge the attack unscathed, and if he let her cause even a small wound, her poisonous aura would definitely spready inside his body without a second's delay. He thought of something as he didn't move back instead he stood there.
The lady's hand pierced through his neck.
"Hah! Finally this vermin will die."
The lady was about to smile when she realized something. There was no blood. Just as she was about to react. She felt a dull pain coming from her forehead. The man who stood with his neck pierced by her was smiling lightly as he touched her head with his two fingers.
The lady's eyes widened, "B-But how-..."
She passed out. Zane backed away a bit. His forehead was covered in sweat. He panted as he looked at the beauty lying on floor. "Huff..Huff... that was a close one. She will atleast be out for an hour or two. This fight really took a piece out of me."
He thought of how he could bind her. So that even after Awakening she couldn't harm him. That's when he thought of something.
'The chains! I could use those darned chains to bind her.'
He immediately disappeared from his place as he appeared at the place where he was sealed.
A huge temple stood covering the entire void. There were huge pieces of golden chains scattered around the void. The temple gave off a mysterious feeling of eternity as if it would still stand tall even if the heavens collapse.
Zane, looked at the temple. 'At that time if it wasn't for the temple that appeared at the last minute. I would have died for sure. But that bastard still chained up the temple with his heavenspan forbidden chain and pushed it towards the unknown voids. Although it couldn't harm the temple. It sealed me inside it.
I will come search the temple's origin after I finish my work.'
He took a large piece of the chain's scattered remains and appeared in the forest again. He bound the beautiful lady up. The robe that the lady was wearing stuck to her skin accentuating her hot figure and with the chains bound tightly around her whole body. Well if anyone saw them they will definitely think of it as bondage play. Zane looked at his work of art,
"She seems more appetizing..cough..cough.. I mean less dangerous this way"
*Hisssss
'With the commotion we have caused, There are beasts coming this way. I better leave here. Although this house can be safe from the attack of on beast king. It will definitely collapse if several of them come here.
Just when he was about to move to his room he felt an itch on his neck. He frowned, as he realized something, this woman dispersed the poisonous aura when she was about to pass out.
'I can't use exert my body to use any more spatial jumps. I have only got one chance. I don't even know how to treat this poison. Seems like I have to take her with me.'
His lips were turning blue as he felt trouble breathing. The itch on his neck was increasing. He spat out mouthful of blood.
'I have to hurry.'
He held the lady in his arms as he entered the spatial ripple. He ended up in his room at the city hall. It was already night so someone will barely disturb him. He immediately locked the door as he sat on his bed with the lady in his arms.
'It will take some time for my body to stabilize the poison. Although it can't kill me directly but eventually it will corrode my body internally. Huff..I....have..to rest.'
His eyelids closed as he fell on the beauty.
