概要
Accidentally killing yourself is a bummer, dying due to not reading the terms of service is embarrassing, and selling your afterlife is depressing.
Now, let's follow Alistair, who, in his great wisdom performed the former while drunk, on his great quest of cleaning the Holy Grail of its corruption.
And if that wasn’t hard enough, he needs to clean it during the 4th Holy Grail war, you know, the one with the worlds most feared assassin as a master, a psychopathic murder master and servant duo, a priest who goes on to hide kids in his basement, two of the knights of the round and fucking Gilgamesh in the mix.
Safe to say, he’ll be acquiring premium life insurance, before stepping foot into Fuyuki.

レビューを書くFirstly Kudos on the author, because that guy knows his stuff. I don't know if he actually has that Fate-Knowledge Skill on EX+ Rank or just did heavy research for this book, but I believe Fate-fans won't be disappointed with the Lore or anything else. I am writing this review on chapter 9, but so far there are hardly points to criticize. It is rather lighthearted at this point, which is acceptable, because the MC is right now 15 years old, meaning we are still in the childhhod-arc, which will soon end and with progressing plot it will automatically turn darker afterall it is Fate. While lighthearted it isn't a story where the MC is completely chillaxed, shown in situations, where the MC is desperate to grow stronger. We are given insight into the world and also how some events in the 'background' affect the MC and his situation. Furthermore are the reasons/intentions of the interacting characters not only clear, which helps with understanding their actions, but also lore-accurate. These 2 points are not only seamlessly infused with the story development, but also, in my opinion, enhance the reading experience. So why did I only give 4 Stars in Updating Stability ? Because until now, one needs to wait for 2 days for a new chapter (sure the chapters are pretty long 3~5k, but still) and because there are pretty late uploaded it sometimes even feels like 3 days : ( . Overall a really enjoyable read ; ) . Also some personal plus-points about this story (WARNING SPOILER!): - No free wishes or something, but a transaction (meaning the MC gets benefits in exchange for something) -MC is pretty strong, while not overpowered (Think of it like that: the MC has the potential to be OP, but because of both his inexperience and age (both his and the present) he is limited for now) -MC is a noob regarding Fate-lore (while I enjoy reading a story about proganist, who knows how to use his knowledge to gain a edge, it is a trope that I have read too much currently and therefore like this approach of an MC who only has superficial knowledge) Personal minus-point (take it with a grain of salt): -Only 1 Female Lead, meaning NO-harem (this piont is both nice and sad, allow me to clarify; It is nice, because there will be no pokemon-catching here and we [the readers] will hopefully get a good romance-story 《as good or better as it can be in Fate》 ; It is sad, because many personal Waifus of us [readers] won't be making it to the promotion to romantic interest, which is kinda tragic, because FGO has many, but one can't have everything)
ネタバレを明かすFanfiction Review: Fate/Fake Order by Hugh Janus “Fate/Fake Order” by Hugh Janus brings a fresh, lively spin to the Fate universe, centered around a dynamic new protagonist, Alastair. Alastair is openly and proudly gay, and his unapologetic personality adds a compelling twist to the high-stakes world of the Grail War. Hugh Janus has crafted a protagonist with depth and flair, making Alastair feel both relatable and unique within the context of the series. His witty, charming approach to the challenges he faces makes him a refreshing departure from the typical Fate mages. The story does an excellent job highlighting Alastair’s personality beyond his sexuality. Hugh Janus skillfully avoids stereotypes, instead building Alastair as a well-rounded character whose confidence and wit enhance each interaction. His flirtatious nature brings humor, especially in his banter with other mages and servants, yet there’s an emotional core to his character that adds layers to his journey. The bond between Alastair and his servant is one of the story’s highlights. Their relationship is beautifully written, evolving from cautious respect to a genuine partnership. Hugh Janus balances tension, humor, and heartfelt moments to give their dynamic a natural feel, making their journey together impactful and memorable. The action scenes are another strong point. Hugh Janus brings the combat to life with vivid, detailed descriptions that capture the intensity and strategy characteristic of Fate battles. The lore is expertly woven in, showing the author’s respect for the source material while adding their unique twist. Overall, “Fate/Fake Order” by Hugh Janus is an engaging read for Fate fans. Alastair is a memorable, fully realized protagonist whose story is as thrilling as it is heartfelt. Hugh Janus’s writing makes this fanfiction a standout, blending action, humor, and heart into a genuinely entertaining experience.
As there have been 16 chapters as of right now I thought I should do a review. •Let's first talk about the main character. He is well written and I like his personality that's all. I don't know what to say if you want to know more just read that fanfiction. • The secondary characters, the author really brings out the characters as they are originally interpreted in Type-Moon. It's enjoyable reading them as they have their own unique character. • Update--The author delivers the update as his promise. He didn't miss a single one as of it yet. ......................That's all..................... ~★Now sum of my personal thoughts on the two FML subjects I really hope that you make this a single female lead as I haven't read it any good fate FanFiction in years. If you do make this a two-female lead fanfiction, do give a heads up so I don't get disappointed so much. I want to say that I really enjoyed reading this so far.★~
Awesome, as of now. We need more Fate Fics, and this Fic is one i believe we needed more so than most others. On a Side Note: Author, please continue as you do right now, and please don't drop this peak
Absolute Cinema, need I say more? I think not. If one hath reached this mountain peak in an attempt to comprehend thy peak, then one shan't be disappointed. Thy Author comprehends thee lore. Thy Author comprehends thee power system. Thy Author comprehends thee personalities, and not only that-but exhibits them in an exceptional fashion. Standeth proud, upon thy peak. Thou holds a magnitude of strength.
I personally recommend this fanfic to any fate fans out there as the author knows his lore and characters. So far it’s been an amazing read and everything felt natural and not forced (Plot). Looking forward to more updates, Good job, you’ve cooked👨🏻🍳🔥👌🏻
IF U WANT BIGGER MEAT 😉 Because i know us degenerates need all the inches we can get. All u need to do is read all chapters. I could not believe my eyes, my mighty pole had increased by a whopping 4 inches 😱 NOW, the old mighty glories being that is I, have passed the threshold of 5 inches and achieved Nirvana. I do no longer need to look at my little PP through a microscope, GLORY TO THE AUTHOR
A good ff that shows a lot of promise, well written characters and overall plot as of Vol.1 Ch15. Looking forward to see how the story continues to develop
In all honesty, One of the best books I've read on this damned app. As for writing this, A book like this is a damn gem that you won't find elsewhere. Give this author nothing but love and damn support because holy shit, He can cook. Although, The mc in this book does kinda piss me off for some unknown reason. Besides me being a cunt, the author can write one hell of a story.
I would say it is quite a good fate fanfiction. High quality with zero grammatical mistakes and big chapters. Author-san I hope you don't drop this fic. Well done, fan of your work.
reading this work I get the feeling of a Chinese novel but about england. ( leaf juice lovers )
There is really not much to say. The author has extensive knowledge of the nasuverse and can come up with his reasonable fanon without creating any plot hole is respect to the og canon. Very enjoyable to read though I suppose that a new reader starting the novel might be bored in the first 4 chapter and feel like there might be some unexplainable things bit they are all wonderfully explained in the later chapters. And rember to watch the advertisement breaks.
The story is very good, although I feel the protagonist is a little weak at the beginning, later on he improves a little. I hope the story continues to improve from now on.
This is clearly there best FF to ever exist! You want proof? Source: Trust me bro.
