No, it is not a system fic. Unless you count a sci-fi weapon as a system.

A humanoid mass of ether floated within the endless stars, resembling a black hole.

And float, it did. Millions of years passed, and the mass of energy traveled the universe, eventually ending up in front of a bright yellow star that shone brilliantly.

[#$£$#£$#£...? ½$#½$#½#$.] Incomprehensible words exited an unknown entity's mouth before the star in front of the mass of ether started to stretch and liquify.

[F...U...S...E] Abiding the Voice's words, the now liquified star made contact with the mass of ether, fusing with it. The entity then disappeared, leaving the thing alone.

"WAHWHAZahZAH" A woman with snakes as her hair and reptilian eyes that shone gold in the cold vacuum of space appeared with a crazy, almost insane laugh. "The Star is here!"

Just when she finished her sentence, divine beings filled the area around her and The Star.

"Are you sure, Medusa?" A man with barely any clothes and a body of unrealistic proportions spoke as he examined the humanoid mass of energy, and now, hydrogen and helium.

"Of course I am, Zeus! The destined child is here, can't you see!?" The woman, now known as Medusa, answered the man's question, her hands going through the mass of energy. "He will save us from our imprisonment!"

"That's not guaranteed." An old man with a long beard and one eye shot back. "I don't believe the prophecies of some wizard to be true."

"Shut up, Odin," Zeus answered. "Merlin might be a bastard, but he is an excellent hero maker."

"That's because he had the help of Vivian!" Odin replied, Zeus' words not changing his mind.

"Alright, if you insist so much, why don't we send one of us with him to the realm of mortals?" Medusa said.

"I agree, but who will we send?"

At that moment, a handsome man with long white hair appeared from within a portal. "My student, of course!" He was Merlin the Wizard.

"...Which one?" Medusa asked, not minding the attitude of Merlin.

"Lily, come here!" The man called out before a young girl with blond hair and blueish green eyes arrived next to him. "Do you want to go on an adventure, Lily?"

"Yes!" Although surprised, the blonde girl agreed. "To where?"

"The human realm," Merlin answered before he led her next to the mass of ether. "I want you to take care of it, okay? Don't let it die or even get hurt."

The being was of extreme importance. It would be their way out of this shithole called the "Heavens."

"Understood, Teacher!" Lily beamed before assuming a sitting position next to The Star. "What do I have to do now?"

Before answering her, the white-haired man looked at the people around him. "Does anyone object?"

"""No."""

"Good." The man turned back to Lily. "I hope we meet again, Artoria."

"Goodbye, Tea–" Before the young lady could finish her words, massive amounts of energy started releasing from The Star.

"Everybody, get back!" Merlin used his magecraft to pull the divine beings back before tendrils of blue energy exploded from within it.

The previously human-like being suddenly changed, tuıning into a massive dark orb with a blue ring around it. Then, as if everything was an illusion, it and Artoria disappeared.

...

[Fateverse/Earth/Japan/The 1800s]

"You don't understand, Nagato!" A man with black hair said with fury. "Can't you see how stupid this whole Holy Grail thing is?!"

"..."

"They are using you!" Hearing the man's words caused no movement in Nagato's face. "You know what? I'm leaving this family and making my own."

...

Decades passed, wars taking place within the timeframe. And the man who had left the Tohsaka family to create his own, Saito Tohsaka, now known as Saito Hoshiko, quietly raised his family.

Of course, just like all mortals, he eventually died, leaving a Magus family that many knew not to mess with. For reasons unknown, their family line could manipulate technology to some extent, thus causing fear in most families.

A few more generations later, around the 1980s, the current Lord of the Hoshiko family's wife screamed painfully as a baby was taken out of her.

That baby was the being made out of star energy.

"He isn't crying...?" The woman, Lady Hoshiko, said in between her breaths as the doctor did the necessary procedures.

A few minutes later, the doctor handed the baby that looked around himself curiously. "He is fine. I suppose it has to do with your ancestry," the woman with a blue mask said. "What will you name him?"

"Sora."

...

Five years later, an adorable five-year-old could be seen playing with beautifully made knives. Any normal parent would be worried about such an act, but the man with raven black hair smiled with pride. "That's my son!"

The only response he got in return was a nod.

"It seems our guess was indeed correct." The large, bulky man got up from his chair. "For some reason, you can perfectly recreate anything you know about." He paused, looking at the large number of blades, laptops, and more next to the kid. "Without any consumption."

"Yeah." The kid nodded. "Why don't we try something more complicated?"

"Haha." The man laughed. "You already have the mindset of a magus at this age; I'm proud."

...

During the many tests of the father-son duo, they noticed that Sora could only recreate human creations, being unable to replicate things such as grass, water, trees, etc.

Years passed just like that, the previously cute child growing to be a handsome boy.

When he was 16, however, he noticed strange blue marks on his hand.

Not worried at all, he calmly walked to the dining room. Upon reaching the place, he knocked on it three times before entering.

"You're here?" The man with raven black hair, crystal blue eyes, and a well-cut beard asked as he shifted his large body. His name was Jin, and he was the current Lord of the Hoshiko family.

"Mhm." Nodding, Sora took a seat. "Just like you guessed, command spells started becoming visible on my hand."

The middle-aged man sighed. "I wanted to keep you out of this whole war business..."

The boy swallowed a piece of the toast in front of him before speaking up. "You don't need to worry. I'll find the perfect catalyst to summon the best Servant and come back here in one piece."

"That's what I expect from my son." Jin nodded. "So, when will you set out?"

"I will summon my Servant today and set out tomorrow," Sora answered before eating the last piece of his meal and getting up. He was a relatively fast eater.

"I see." Jin nodded. "I'll accompany you to the library."

"No need, I already know which Servant to summon," Sora replied before a masterfully crafted sword in a blue, red, and golden sheath appeared in his hand.

Caliburn, the Sword of Choosing.

"A sword... King Arthur?"

"Mhm." Sora nodded. "This is Caliburn, the sword Arthur pulled out from the stone."

"You were able to recreate such powerful weaponry?"

"Yeah," Sora replied before walking out of the room.

...

While making his way to the area he planned to use for summoning, Sora thought about the many problems that had bothered his mind ever since his birth.

On top of that list was his lack of physics-based powers, such as Mass Manipulation. His signature power had been replaced by the weak ability to recreate human-made objects as long as he understood them.

He had thought long and hard about how he was supposed to achieve his goal and eventually decided to use Servants because of their immense power.

What was his goal? To free the Gods from their imprisonment, and to do that, he needed great power. Something he wouldn't have if he stayed in his house. Not physically, at least.

Of course, he could just recreate the legendary weapons from the past, yet how much information could fairytales give him? He had to see and understand them in person.

Sighing, the boy opened the door to the basement. No use in thinking about it.

As he started drawing the ritual circle with his blood, he thanked this reincarnation's luck for coming from the Tohsaka bloodline. Because of that, finding out how to do the ritual was simple.

Finally done with the magic circle, he placed the still sheathed Caliburn in the middle of it before getting up.

Then, he started chanting.

[Later]

"Here is my oath: I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead; I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead."

He closed his eyes from the bright light.

"You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ―――!"

As the bright light enveloped the boy, a blonde girl in a white and black dress appeared.

"Nice to meet you, Master." The blonde girl with blueish-green eyes spoke. "My name is Artoria, and I'm the Saber-class Servant. But, as I'm still an apprentice with the sword, please call me Saber Lily."
