Pan An was driving to his parent's house when he called his best friend, Wang Lei, to update him on what had happened.

"That really happened? Why did you tell me this now? Is she alright?"

Wang Lei is even worried for Shu Xian. With her being the best friend of his little sister, and her being the lover of his best friend, of course he would be concerned about her, too!

Shu Xian is a sweet girl and no one, even her, deserves being targeted by an evil uncle with a hidden motive!

"She's alright, Wang Lei," Pan An answered, letting out a sigh as he rolled his eyes, Wan Wan sticking out her head out to enjoy the air. "She's with Wang Fang, your sister, and Zhang Ren. She took her out to their place."

"My sister is with her? Zhang Ren, too?"

"Yes," Pan An answered, making a turn on the street. "And Wang Fang, the librarian I'm close with is with them. You may not know, but she is the daughter of the Gus."
