With the orders of the two men protecting her, Jade really was always followed by them wherever and under any circumstances.

Shane kept watching around his campus because he also studied there. So he could learn while monitoring his mate's safety.

After college, usually, Max would take turns guarding Jade. Unless he had business he couldn't stay, only then would he ask Shane to take his place.

Without Max asking Shane to take his place, he was always there for Jade. He would always be ready whenever Jade needed him. Because for Shane, Jade was his priority.

"Aren't you tired of taking care of me?" Jade asked when class was over and they were walking down the campus corridor towards the cafeteria.

"Nothing is boring when it comes to you," replied Shane.
